if its the same barbell method I've heard I found it to be a good theory but not so practicle as reattaching one of the bells to the cut bar would not be so easy.

I did a variation on the barbell method. I too had trouble reattaching the two pieces si I found similar sized nuts and bolts and simply used then in the barbells place. He is not quite as smooth in movement but he holds poses fine and looks correct. Sorry I did not take pics while doing it and I experimented in getting the correct length bolt till I got it right.

Slim True Type.

Waist is a bit thicker, thighs are VERY snug, I found the feet kept falling off.

Ended up back on standard body with gaffer tape to keep the joints stiff.

Yeah ... I'm quite annoyed. I bought a slim True Type to substitute Luke's body, but the knees are too big - thighs cannot be put in place all the way up.

Not sure how you got them in place ...

Bummer ...

AHHHH Editdroid but with a wee bit of work magic can be made!

I am not a fan of the SS stormie till I had a play.

I chopped down the thigh and shin armour and now I really like my SS stormie

Gladly chop yours up for you if you want.

As I do not possess a sideshow stormie yet, this may be erroneous.
I believe the armor is some sort of vinyl right? people used the boiling method to fix the chest armor so I would assume that you could do something similar with the thigh armor.

It's more like PVC.

To give an idea of the Oz height, here is a picture of him next to a regular Buck:

I think Sideshow did a couple of the other Lukes on a short body, but they didn't adjust the arm length so Luke has monkey arms. Oz is much more in proportion. Well, as much as any Buck-style Sideshow figure can be said to be in proportion.

When most people here think of vinyl, they think of the easily pliable vinyl used for VCDs and such. This is considerably harder than that.

I hope your not speaking for everyone again Nam!

Or when you say "most people" are you refering to "The important people" or in other words "You"

love ya!
