I just got into this as well. I wait listed Hulk and VII but don't got my hopes up on getting them. Still have yet to pull the trigger on actually having one officially yet. Thinking maybe Mark 42 pre order

Yes and not easy to get off of it either! I wish I can just not like these figure, because they're so darn expensive and every time I say I'm going to stop and sell a few pieces.. I look at them and say I need another to go on the shelf.

I did not pre order the MK7 or Hulk, but I have 3 local shops here in Phoenix who get Hot Toys on a regular basis and placed larger orders on both these figures. I don't think I'll have trouble getting these two pieces at all.

Can't afford it anymore and the variety just plain sucks, if it's not the same characters they've already done it the same licenses

Nope, not yet.

I have successfully resisted getting Catwoman and the Robocop figure.

It helps that I have no interest in getting figures from Phase 2 that already had releases.

Will be strange though after Coulson and Hulk arrive and having nothing pending on order after all this time getting the Avengers. I probably won't even be getting the Chitauri. (not being a completist also helps).

I wouldn't say so. I've been collecting about a year and have bought ten figures (have eight of them now, two are still on order), one diorama set (Toys Legend The Dark Knight Armory), and made one custom figure.

I pretty much know what I want and am staying pretty much within franchises I really want (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Terminator, Man of Steel). I may get an odd character here and there eventually too but as of now those franchises are mainly what I want and I'm content with collecting just those for now.

I started collecting around March of last year and only wanted to get the dark knight and batman ’89 figures.

But that’s when the real problem started because after getting a few figures that led to predator figures, terminator figures, superman figures, star wars figures, marvel and avenger’s figures and custom figures.

I have 7 detolf’s and just over 40 figures with 6 currently on pre-order

Heh the only thing that has curbed my addiction is those die-cast figures. I just can't bring myself to get any of them so far because so far as I'm concerned plastic was fine and a little cheaper.

I would say I'm not addicted and sort of addicted at the same time. I have no interest on any existing or upcoming Batman or Iron Man figures. However, there are 4 figures that I will definitely get:

Maria Hill (The Avengers not CA2)
Kei Yuki (Captain Harlock CGI)
Black Widow (CA2)
Black Widow (Avengers 2)

The first one is probably a con exclusive at some point so not sure if I would be lucky enough to get it. Among the other 3, Kei Yuki depends on how good she turns out in HT hands, for all I know the Play Arts Kai figure of her is equally tempting. I just might go the PAK route for cost reasons. As for the BWs, I am pretty sure I will be getting them
