worth every penny if you have room for it.

solid, tight joints, heavy... one of, if not the best KO i've had my hands on.

Thanks! Wait, room? How big are we talking about here? I was kinda hoping he would fit alongside my 1/6 figures, despite technically being nowhere near 1/6 scale.

not ridiculous or anything... he's just big compared to the std MP10...
here's a size ref next to the HT prime... i'm sure he'll fit in fine.

I got XTransbots Wheelie V2 yesterday and it's about what I expected, it looks great in either mode but is not without it's issues.

The transformation is not helped by the lack of clarity in certain parts of the instructions and also by the thin plastic on parts which require pulling in order to get them to the required position for robot mode.

The plastic quality isn't bad, it's just thin in certain areas which makes it more susceptible to breaking....I played safe and popped the arms & legs off at their ball joints in order to fold them into the correct position and then reattached them.

Once in robot mode you're left with an excellent representation of Wheelie, all the joints and paint apps are decent enough, there's just a tiny gap on mine as the crotch piece doesn't seem to tab into the lower chest properly but I'm not sure whether this is true of all of them as I've seen pictures of others where the gap wasn't as obvious but it's not something I can see from across the room when he's on the shelf so it's no big deal.

There's a tiny bit of paint rub on the stock things but the replacements are fine so I'll just swap over to them.

If I intended on transforming it more often I'd probably feel a bit different but as it's staying in robot mode I'm happy enough with it, I don't think there'll be a better Wheelie in terms of looks, but there's certainly room for improvement with how the transformation is executed and the overall build quality.

At this point I think KFC/XTransbots should have raised their game significantly higher on the QC front because they're way behind MMC, Fans Toys, Badcube and Make Toys and it's a shame that the work from 539 Designs continues to be dragged down by their factory.

Even though XTransbots are currently the only company making an MP Cliffjumper I'm very reluctant to jump on board due to the continued uncertainty over the final quality, I'd sooner wait and see what Badcube or MMC do.

I got an invoice from Kapow Toys for MP Optimus Primal today and they're saying he could be in stock by next week! :yess:

After buying Titans Return Blurr recently and being unexpectedly impressed with it I've decided to give the Takara Legends version of Weirdwolf a try as well which I should have in the next couple of days.

I'll also be ordering MMC Overlord shortly which might well become my favorite figure of the year.

Got a couple of MMP10's. The reviews were spot on- this figure is just sublime!

By way of Daimchoc's Facebook page, looks like our first final-product photo of Masterpiece Thrust. Still has the rubber bands around the arms.

Also, Inferno's ladder unpacked:

Finally some worthy news I can give a damn about! Thanks Bauer!

That inferno looks amazing, I can't believe they were able to pull that trick for the ladder! This is why TT designers will always be above all other wannabes. As far as Thrust, he does look great, tough I still think those coneheads are a bit overpriced. But what do you do.

Can't wait to have those two on my shelf!

I'm not a BeastWars fan, but I did PO Primal from AE way before the shipping prices got high. I saw some newer pics from another con and he looks to be much larger than I expected. He looks like he may be as large as MP10, or a bit larger. So I'm excited to add an Ape to my collection.

Side note I also hate paying the Seeker prices, but like Fran says "what do you do?".

Another (very nicely done) review of Grassor, courtesy of Toy Dojo:

I personally don't agree with the initial comments about Grassor being "way too big" compared to MP-10. I mean, this is THE guy that took down Devastator in the movie, FFS.

The "comparisons" between this guy and Mr Potato are hilarious. That thing is a mess and I'm glad I totally passed.

There's been some reported issues with the test-shot and GIGA seems to be fixing those before a general release. As Im getting the metallic version, I'm sure none of the said problems (mostly miss transforming and breaking) and some loose parts; will be non existent.

Bring on the rest GIGA!

Bobbyskullface ripped into the toy complaining it was too big, too detailed poorly tolleranced etc. I think he was overly harsh in his assessment almost as much as ben was so gushing.
I personally love the details, proportions and scale.
Im stuck with fanstoys scoria though which pisses me right off!
Might still buy it though simply because its so nice. Might end up with 2 dinobot displays by the end.
Hope we dont wait an age for GP Sludge

Hasbro previewed Titan Trypticon at NYCC. Just the leg, weirdly enough, but at least it's a good leg. Traditional transformation, fully jointed, and even has ankle titls. This along with the preview pics from that chinese convention are really starting to make me excited for it.
