If it transforms, I'm in. Shame that it's Hasbro, though; after owning third-party toys I'm a little spoilt.

Edit: didn't see that it was only licensed by Hasbro. My bad. I guess this means it definitely doesn't transform, but this could be a nice cheaper alternative to the Ultimetal for those of us who don't care about die-cast. I hope the range of motion on the joints is good.

I really like that Toys Alliance Prime. Pricing isn't too bad at around $160 either. If it pops up for pre-order at Kapow I may bite.

18"? Does that technically make him 1/6 scale? How tall is G1 Optimus anyway?

Edit: Seems like he was about 20ft, that means this would be still be halfway underscaled with a 1/6 figure.

Ultimetal Prime was over a grand at 18" but it was damned near full diecast... this thing at the same height and near $150 makes me wonder what the materials and quality are like.
