Question #1: Are there any introduction guides or articles for customizing and accessorizing action figures?

Question #2: Are there any introduction guides or articles about the various figure body, hands, and head types, and how to purchase various extra accessory parts that can be swapped to fit my specific figure?

Question #3: The hands and skin are too shiny. What is the best method to take that sheen away?
