Prime 1 is more accurate. They take the 3D models of the characters and then produce them out in one museum standing pose. They're very accurate to the source material from the movies because of that.
They don't have to deal with engineering and manufacturing the product for articulation like 3A does. There's no way the figure could move the way it currently does if all they did was print out the 3D models of the character. Not much to compare though. They both fall into two separate categories.
Prime 1's Optimus is stuck in one static pose and cost $2300. It is more accurate overall but again it's a $2300 statue.
3A's Optimus is fully articulated and is $430. Not as accurate overall but you get one that's pretty darn close & articulated for a fraction of the cost of Prime 1's.
They both look great. It just boils down to what you prefer to have in your collection.
Thanks for your explanation! It's true that Prime 1's statue is much more expensive compared to 3A's. Anyway, I prefer more articulated figure than a statue. Just hope 3A's Prime turns out well with the final product.
