you can see some pictures from the 1/4 of this figure, the 1.4 got damage things like the MK42

how does hot toys not understand that the 1/6 iron man with that gloss doesn't do it justice.
Im hoping they tweak this figure and add some stuff to justify its price tag.

I hadn't heard that the gloss finish was such a problem on the IM figures until the past few days. How long has this been an issue?

Not a QC issue, but one of personal preference, that the gloss gives it a toy-like appearance while the matte finish of the 1/4 XLIII looks better. Couldn't say one way or the other.

If I could find the space to have everything, I would so get this. Have Mark 42 & Iron Patriot and those two alone take up a whole shelf. Plus I already have the Mark 3 on preorder so it's a tough call if I'll be able to do them both with everything else coming next year.

As for the gloss, I like the look but they need to tone it down. If they give the 1/4 a matte finish why can't 1/6 have it as well?

The only diecast I won't own thus far is Hot Rod. A repainted WM 2.0 isn't very appealing.

Silver Centurion is glossy and that armor looks great
