It's around 31" tall! Look at the size of it compared to Arnold!!! (Arnold is slightly bigger than Sauron as a reference for those not familiar with the line)

That's a hell of an Alien there! And I must say that the T-800 and the T-X are breathtaking too!!! Wonder at what price they change owners...

I'm pretty disappointed that SSC yet again has decided to ship a 1:1 bust only from the US warehouse. $999 is a good price, but the last time I ordered something from the US, I had to pay an extra 25% or 26%, due to import taxes and customs fees. Add to that another $30 to $50 on shipping, and we're talking about a quite different amount here. I just have to wait and see what the prices on the secondary (EU) market will be. Man, what a bummer!

this is an amazing statue ..... seriously considering , but where does one put such a large statue in a room already full of LOTR statues ...

would have to cancel aragorn@brego @ legolas and gimli on arod to fund ( picking up later ) what a dilema ......

does anyone have an idea as to possible quantities or shipping dates ....

as already stated taxes will be a real issue ....

will sideshow ship such a large item to the uk .... was not able to ship the U\C elven shield due to size ?when purchased from a supplier in the states

Kaos, I'm in a similar situation myself. I don't have any of the Alien products, and I'm in the market for one currently.

There are currently 5 high-end choices:

1. SS Alien 1:1 head
2. SS Alien Queen 1/4
3. SS Alien Warrior 1:1 bust
4. SS Alien 1/4 bust with signature
5. Cinemaquette Alien 1/3 scale (this probably will have Giger's sig also). Here's a link for those of you who haven't seen this:

It should cost $1,500, which is much cheaper than most of us expected.

I'm going with the Alien Queen 1/4 myself, and I will get an Alien Warrior 1/4 if they ever make one. I had an opportunity to buy the 1/4 bust with Giger's sig for $600, and I passed. It's still overpriced even at that price, IMO.

The CM Alien is pretty incredible also, and I will be looking at possibly getting one of those down the road.

With all of this, I probably going to try for two. I think I'm getting a 1/4 queen for now. The other?????????

wow. I see ppl who don't have an Alien piece yet having "a hard time" about picking between those high end collectibles?? Come ON! You know who'se having a really HARD time right now!?? The Alien freak that HAS already a big Alien collection and wants them all! *sigh*..

But really. it's killing me!!
