The dots are just for design sake I guess. In the game I don't see those dots as of now. Still have not got time to explore the game in detail yet. So let's see....

I played AA and loved it. So that's why got AC. Looks pretty cool since it has not only Joker but also Two Face, Penguin and Catwoman.
