You have the reveal picture for the leg part? I just want to know whats behind the costume before deciding modifying the legs.

Still contemplating to ask somebody from Shapeway to print a new handle bar. I'm using Bandai's 1/12 Speeder Bike as a reference. I still need to scale it up in proportion to SS Speeder Bike. It's not a straight conversion from 1/12 to 1/6. Coz SS Speeder Bike is underscale as a 1/6 model.

I temporary put the Hasbro helmet on the Sideshow body. It looks good but top heavy. Coz the dome is metal. Gonna get another set for repainting and modification of some small details.

Just for fun... Side by side. Sideshow helmet (on the left) looks really way off compared to Hasbro.

I hope Bandai will do a 1/6 Vader. If they do, the head might be a good replacement for Sideshow. Wishing.

Received mine today. First thing I noticed are the hoses. I think I need to put it on a hot steam so it will hang properly. At the moment they are defying gravity

Yep. No matter what you do with the clothing without changing the helmet it will still be ANH Vader.

Received mine today. But I dont see any instruction on how to access the battery. Is it the same as the R2? Oops. Nevermind, found the small instruction at the bottom of the box.

The selling point for a figure for me is the head sculpt or helmet. Coz that's the part I look at first. If there's no improvement in that area. I'm not gonna replaced for what I have now.

Get the HT version. Thats the episode IV costume. Coz thats what I did. I have 2 Vaders on my shelf.

I'm planning to redo the handle bars by scratchbuilding a new one. Then again theres shapeway. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/308bits I might send this guy a 3D version of the handle bar. And have it refined and printed. Or does anybody here have a 3d digital asset? Just email to this guy.

Darn. Missed the boat. Even with the painting not yet complete. You can still see its Harrison Ford on that sculpt. Jnix did a fantastic job. I hope he will consider doing a helmet replacement for Sideshows ROTJ Darth Vader.:pray:
