I'm hoping a third party company makes a body and outfit for his NWH look or even one of his looks from the original trilogy so I can have the unmasked head on it.
 
Why is this guy sooo expensive?! Even for the standard version.

Was looking to upgrade my 1.0 but sheesh that might not happen 😅

The deluxe black suit is a better deal if you ask me. $30 more and you get a cool base plus a figure with a Tobey sculpt. That’s what I went with although I’d like a traditional Spidey too.
 
The stupid seam on the head that they've been taking one step forward two steps back on since the original Spider-Man is something I believe InArt would make a non issue on their first try.

Oh wow that's much better. Saw MRC's review on youtube and not only was it the center of the web not aligned up and down, but side to side. Time to roll the dice ladies and gents.
 
Man that neck seam is the worst one yet. I thought it looked bad on the Garfield version but that doesn’t seem so bad now after seeing this.
 
No seam on the forehead of the 1.0 but then having one on the 2.0 is rather annoying to see.

It sticks out more than Garfield's. I feel like the gap and edge on this one is thicker. Doesn't blend into the body as well.

I never have bought any Spider-Man and it seems I will keept on that. Don't like the neck union, the headsculpt seems like is dead, and the most important, always the bad proportions of the head, legs, ass...
 
What do we think is the likelihood/cost of the diorama parted out?
I love the diorama base but likeing the figure itself less the more I look at it.

I was going to correct you and remind you that the 1.0 does have the seam but I think I know what you mean now - it stops higher at the ''hairline'' on the 1.0 whereas on the new one it's actually coming down the forehead where it's more frontally visible. That's a bummer.

Seems to be a disappointing figure....a bunch of figures on my list in the year just gone have ended up that way. :( On the plus side it has made it easier that I've had to pass on them. I bought zero Hot Toys in 2023.
