Definitely a game changer. Those joints are pretty terrible. They look okay when bent but when extended, her arms look way too long in the forearm, and the swivel joint right above the elbow joint isn't great either. It could have been a shoulder swivel. But thank goodness for the seamless arms! I think I'll still wait for GT though. The headsculpt is just 🤌🏻
 
It's pretty much what I wish GT would do with their Tifa and Aerith. I really liked that they included both options for Cloud/Zack so kind of disappointing that Tifa is only seamless so far, even though her elbow is completely hidden so having it jointed would be nice for poses.

I prefer a switch out option as well. They mentioned medical grade silica which I'm guessing is holding up pretty well so far from all their testing, but people who work with silicone for a living all say it has to be platinum medical grade silicone with no tin in it. Not sure how much faith I have in medical grade silica after a few years if posed.

I think I'm going to cancel or at least resell my statues and stick to Nomnom. Very excited to see how Cloud turns out to pair with this.

Genuinely can't decide whether I stick or twist with GT. I preferably want GT but who knows when that's out or if it will ever see the light of day. This Aerith seems to be pretty spot on from the promo pics. I guess I pre order toys era, get her and if GT do release her ill sell this one on and get GT

That's a great headsculpt, up there with GT and Solar's efforts. Remake Sephiroth and Tifa both seem to persistently evade being captured accurately so it's always nice to see studios nail it.

What is this, a kit you have to paint yourself? Looks very nice, although the base is way too big.
 
Hopefully the final product will look as good as the prototype. Never know anymore, and the only certainty is uncertainty.

Yeah it's amazing how good and how fast sculpts can be done with xnalara files. Not saying everyone uses them, but it makes it a lot easier to use as a base or to get references from all angles.

It's a STL (3D printing file), but he has a guy for kits as well. I'm going to print them in 1/3 eventually. I'm guessing the base will fit in well with Cloud who might be lower. If not, the beauty is you can always edit the files and make the base smaller just by slicing it with free software.
