I can dig it. It looks like another cool IM figure. The Mark VII's one of my most fav IM suits and the die-cast figure is a dang good figure. It is of course understandable why they recolour figures. Though for my liking I think the silver is a bit much, I would've liked if they simply replaced the gold on the original colour scheme to the silver.

I'm bored at work so I asked an SSC "Ambassador" if they'll be carrying it out of curiosity. He told me to keep an eye out on social media and for emails because it's very limited... I guess that means they will be carrying it?
They usually don't give me a straight answer for questions like this, but I guess we'll see.

This version looks pretty cool. I also love the silver & darker red combo as the Silver Centurion comic armor has always been my fav as that's the armor Tony donned when I got heavily into comics in the 80's. And the MK VII (or MKIV) is my favorite MCU armor. But both those factors are still not enough to make me want this. :lol

I gave up on the MCU HT figures long ago. Only buy SW now. Last figure I bought was Dr. Strange (IW version). I'm content with my older plastic HT Iron Man figures. I don't like the fact the newer larger scale makes the new DC Iron Man figures and others look oversized, or older figures look too small.

As far as the "pointless invented colorway limited edition" aspect goes, this actually looks good at least, more Silver Centurion than the actual MCU Silver Centurion. More of this, less listerine holographic suits. I don't know why everyone is so worked up though, this is limited enough it will sell out right away regardless and disappear faster than it arrived

If HT want to continue releasing Iron Man figures, I'd ask they at least start making comic book suits. Continuing to re-release MCU suits (2.0s, recolors, special editions, etc...) is boring and lazy at this point. Surely they already got a nice ROI on making the molds at this point. Do Extremis or Bleeding Edge suits, for example.

"But, I didn't start collecting until right this very moment and I don't want to pay aftermarket prices! So, I hope HT reissues all the figures I currently say that I want, but probably still won't actually buy when they go up for PO, because I'll have another excuse for 'missing out' on these highly sought after figures."

That's probably licensing as much as anything, like they only did a lot of more comic book inspired spider-man suits when they could release them under the videogame umbrella. Punisher War Machine or whatever that was was under a mobile game title

Yeah.. limited to 300 on Sideshow. People are going to scramble and be upset over missing it and then will pay big money for it later on. Can almost bet on it.

300? Really? It will sell out in four seconds.....and yes people will pay $1k for it on secondary. Perhaps. Unless the craze for these has slowed way down.

I rsvp'd becausr I really dig it. I'm usually the first person to roll my eyes at the ugly A F neon tech versions but this is pretty cool :)

Knowing Hot Toys lately the RSVP bonus will probably be the Endgame head sculpt they made everyone send back for the exchange.

For the Cap, the RSVP was announced on Oct 25th and the PO went live Oct 31st. This appears to be different in that it has a Q3-Q4 release date. So it won't immediately ship like Cap. SO, if they follow that pattern, ( who know if they will ) this could go up later this week or early next week. Of course another difference was that Cap had been released in HK months before SS got it.

Maybe this time they'll actually let people use their Sideshow rewards when placing the order. With Cap the greedy little b******s knew they could get away with gouging us and there would still be enough people happy to fork over the cash.

So, what are we thinking with respect to the asking price? I'm guessing an even $500 to mark the occasion, and people will use the "unique" base to defend HT/justify the markup. :lol
