Neca has had a thing with Target these past couple of weeks. Some event with figures with low quantities being put on shelves. That might be how they got him.

NECA also sends out early samples to reviewers to get a buzz ahead of general release.

That's a cool animation, and I was lucky to catch JAWS in 3D over the weekend, there were some moments where it was really amazing to feel like I was right there in the action.

From what I've seen for a lot of manufacturers (not sideshow) BBTS arranges their own shipments from China instead of waiting for Hasbro/NECA/etc to get the products in the US and ship to BBTS to save money for themselves. So I imagine they've got containers sitting there getting filled by various manufacturers, sometimes the item is the first thing in the container and takes forever and sometimes it's the last thing they fit inside and then it seems to arrive fast.

I got mine from Amok Time about 2 weeks ago. Think they still have stock.

Thanks for the Amok Time tip! I just ordered Denim Hooper; got tired of waiting for BBTS to get their stock. Shipping was $6 more, but what the heck.

Denim Hooper arrived today -- pretty good! The difference between the heads, though, is way subtle. Prefer the non-smirking one. Gonna pass on the scuba version, though.

Just got charged for Amity HOOPER today from BBTS. Finally....

Thinking about customising the quint to look battle damaged like the ending scene and also same with hooper in the scuba gear but do the injuries according to the book when he dies. All this because my figures came in a damaged box’s

Brody is really going to hold out, huh?

Does anyone know if they’re even still trying to get the rights to Brody? I suspect they’re waiting to see how the others ultimately sell to see if it’s worth the money, but that’s just a hopeful guess and not based on anything. Would probably help if they teased the shark again.

They've been extremely quiet on social media. I haven't seen Randy active or in an interview in a long time. One of their employees has done some other interviews but talks mostly only about TMNT.

Silly figures, I only bought them out of nostalgia and there's absolutely nothing JAWS related anymore. Stuff is so rare its worth picking up. But I doubt there was much of a windfall on their merchandise.

Yeah. Not the silliest, but definitely on the silly side. I had decided to skip them early on when Brody was still in the cards, and only picked them up recently when I saw them in person. They really clicked with something in the back of my brain.

Maybe they could go the Alien Kane route and stick a facehugger on Brody.

I suppose someone will offer a custom Brody at some point. But the cost of customs will likely kill that project.

Hopefully, the Brody "estate" will have a change of heart.

Ah, the completionist/collector in you coming out, not the figure connoisseur.

Jaws is one of my favorite movies ever, but somehow I never saw the appeal in collecting any of the humans. Bruce or nothing for me.
