I wasn't sure where to put this, but people should be aware. I've used KGHobby for years without complaint, but their response to some missing parts was abysmal. My Deckard figure was missing it's belt and holster, so i contacted them for replacements several months ago. My Empire Legion Tyrant was missing a metal helmet, a substantial part of the figure, so again i contacted them.

You can see the foam cutout that should not be there, was still in place.

After waiting 5 months, this is what they sent me, a broken shoulder holster and a Samurai helmet.

How they thought these would be suitable replacements is appalling. I won't be buying from them ever again.

Jesus.

I've only dealt with stuff like that from Sideshow, and their customer service has been A+++ for me. I'm sorry to see what you're dealing with.

I don’t use them anymore either. They deliver the product but if something’s wrong they won’t replace or exchange it. I had issues with my Deckard as well. Never resolved, decided to move on. I basically only buy from Sideshow, OSK or BBTS.

I stay away from both KG and TNS figures now. Zero customer service.

I got the 2.0 version of V for Vengance a while back. The head arrived detached from the body. It was clear that someone did not know what they were doing and forced the pieces together so many times that it broke. I knew KG wasn't going to do anything about it so I bought a replacement part off of ebay for about six bucks, but that should not be happening for a brand new figure. Sent KG a message about it and never heard anything back from them

I had a similar issue from OneSixthOutfitters. My Aragorn was missing a dagger and a strap was broken. I suspected he must have been a return or something. It's not like this guy was in high demand anywhere.

They said they were sold out so could not help me but could give me a discount on a future purchase or I could send it all back in for a refund. : (

Seems like I will keep away from KGHobby as well. Had two orders from them and those came in fine, but I would rather not have to deal with them if they are on this level.

I’ve never really had a problem with them. Occasionally they are late and they at least pretended they cared when I broke a foot peg (but they claimed they didn’t have any spare to replace with). They have offered to combine shipping and other things like that so I will give them that. I’m running out of places to use through various issues so if this happens to me I will have to consider dropping them but that won’t leave me many other options.

I've used kg hobby for years, normally stellar. Had some weirdness around some orders recently, but this will serve as a warning. Will fulfil my last orders and move to OSK.

It seems like KGhobby doesn't understand 'the hobby'. These aren't 20 dollar barbies. These are collectibles costing upwards of 200 dollars and more and are cherished by those who buy them. Sending faulty replacement parts is a slap in the face. I would be mad as hell.

I will never buy from them again. Bad consumer service is a no go.

I am mad as hell. They had the nerve to email me, saying the edition i ordered did not include the helmet and that everything was as it should be. I had to provide screenshots of my order (Double Set Edition) and their own damn website, which very clearly showed the helmet as part of the package.

They eventually said they would work with the supplier to provide a replacement, exactly what they should have done 5 months ago. Whatever the outcome, once the existing PO's are completed, i'll switch to OneSixthKit.

KG Hobby sucks. I’ve posted about this a couple times before, but I had issues with my Supermad 2049 Deckard missing a couple accessories like his whiskey bottle, as well as having really, really bad paint rub on the nose of the regular sculpt. It took over a year and probably a dozen emails before I could get replacement parts, and after all that they still ****** up and sent me the other head sculpt (the bloodied sculpt) instead of the normal sculpt which is the one that I needed.

I’m very sorry to hear that. A lot of these places just don’t have any accountability unfortunately. They’re fine till there’s a problem and when there’s a problem, they don’t want to deal with it.

I will definitely be less likely to recommend them in the future.

I know it’s not funny at the moment till you get some resolution, but man, when I scrolled down and saw the random *** samurai helmet they sent you, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the absurdity of them doing that.

Yeah, can you file a dispute? Paypal is probably expired- but try your credit card company.

Never had a problem with them but if something like this happened I would consider moving on. They have always been good to me, probably because I buy a bit from them. Problem is, I’m running out of places to buy from lol.
