Thanks for sharing the videos, I just learned they don't have plans to bring the complete fellowship.... I hope GTG sells well and they change their mind.

I owned a lot of Gandalfs from Sideshow and Weta but this level of likeness is unseen. Even Weta Masters Collection Gandalf on Cart is nowhere near the likeness we see on the prototype... and we paid over 2k for the statue.

This release is bringing me back into figures as my collection was dedicated to statues and props. And I cant wait to pose him with the them.

Where did you preorder? And do you know which retailer is the cheapest for Ozzie collectors to preorder this? Once shipping/GST is taken into account? Thanks!

After careful considerations I decided I will skip Gandalf. Then I found out he comes with underwear and now I am tempted once again. Well played Inart.

I always did want to recreate this scene for my collection. Thanks INART!

No but it does sag appropriately. Might need a little more weathering.

Sugo is the only major online Aussie retailer I am aware of that gets stock like this, ie. third party or items that are regionally restricted.

I wonder if underwear is a translation hiccup for a padded undergarment akin to a fat suit to shape the body.

I have seen these movies a lot of times but I don't remember that scene.

The hat looks great- but probably not enough to get a second Gandalf, even if he didn't cost $200 more than the other.

I initially balked at the price, but the more I consider it the more this looks like the Gandalf to have in 1/6 scale. It would mean sacrificing some other purchases as I keep to a self imposed budget on these things.

So this preorder ends on the 15th?
