The teeth look somewhat smaller in the release pictures than the pictures from SDCC. I'm still eager to pick this up but not at full price.

Joints and teeth aside the figure looks ok. I just wish they would have went with a more mischievous grin for the expression. Oh well

Can't believe they went for this over a classic harlequin version or a Dr Harleen. :lol

They really needed to use a seamless body. It’s time to invest in a partnership with TBLeague, Hot Toys. Design the body type and have them make it for you. Tattoos can be done on their figures. The Zombie Slave Girl proves it.

They already have a kind of seamless body they used with Wonder Woman. Surely they could have done something like that here so she didn't have those awful knee and elbow joints.

This has to be one of Hot Toys’ biggest misses in a while. Just not very good looking. Honestly it was a weird choice for a figure in the first place. In the right pose it’s not as bad looking but it’s definitely not a great figure. The teeth and joints definitely make it stick out like a sore thumb.

If the other two Harley figures haven’t sold out I can see this warming shelves for a long time and probably ending up with some deep discounts.

Fix teeth, get it seamless body and it's a decent doll. Sculpt is nice otherwise.

It's so bad, it's good.
Like Bad Santa always says: "They can't all be winners, kid."

Yup I'd agree with this but just don't care enough about this version of Harley to go to the effort.

The harlequin version would have probably sold out in pre-order had they done that figure. HT make some strange decisions.

i'm curious if a) anybody has this on po and is buying it for retail and b) if that person could pop this head on the first harley release so we can see how it looks

Re: 1/6th scale Harley Quinn (Dancer Dress Version)

I think the sculpt looks pretty good and the figure looks good overall, minus the joints.

I would like to see a some on swap out the WW armor and Scuplt on this body just to see the level of articulation we can get

Are the circular "folds" of the dress molded into it? They're too perfect and they're in every photo.

Yikes this looks bad. Margot Robbie may have a wide smile, but her teeth still curve around in front like everybody else's and don't stretch from one corner to the other like the Cheshire Cat. Lol

Agreed. The same sculptor did both heads (well, she apparently had some assistance on the first HQ). Hard to believe she didn't notice such an obvious difference within her own work.

Hmmm...not gonna lie, but when they did the head swap on the video, I actually kinda like it.
I still think the SS looks better, but the New head is actually not bad as an alternative.

I might try to pick up the head, and repaint the face with the messy, drippy runny mascara, and futz with the hair.

What's ironic is the sculpt reminds me of Samara Weaving.
The girl from Netflix's the Babysitter.

I remember seeing that and telling my fiance that she reminds me of Margot Robbie.
She does a lot of these mischievous grin in the film...and I remember saying to her...this girl would have also been great as Harley Quinn.

Apparantly, she's also Australian.
