Oh man.

What is Star Ace thinking here?

This reminds of when SS had their Universal Monsters in holiday garb. They were a little more pricey, but not $300+ pricey.

Should have been green like the ghost of Christmas present. Would have been more believable being that he is half giant and has dark hair and beard.

So.... was Santa Hagrid in the book or something? Talk about a bizarre figure choice. If they wanted to rehash Hagrid why not do an alternate outfit from a different Potter movie?

Just came across this PO up at BBTS for $339.99 with NRD $68........... Enjoy :lol

:rotfl WTF? I honestly thought that this was a joke, then I clicked the link!! So many interesting, as-yet-unmade characters they could do and they go for...Santa Hagrid as the next release :slap Because everyone needs one of those! Surprised they didn't give Fang a red nose or something equally crazy. I mean seriously Star Ace?? :cuckoo:

...what the...lmfao. This is the strangest and most pointless Harry Potter product I've ever seen released lol. That monstrosity looks so stupid lol. I thought this was a joke at first but apparently the only joke is who Star Ace hired to make this thing. I honestly can't stop laughing at this thing.

Nope, Hagrid never wore a Santa outfit in the books ever.

This might be a neat idea for a variant in a children's toy line, but here it's just flat out stupid. It reeks of them just wanting to reuse the body to recoup tooling costs, but since Hagrid never really changed much, they put him in a Santa costume and called it a day.

^ :exactly:Or even a 'suited' Yule Ball version from The Goblet of Fire. Santa Hagrid is such an odd choice for a figure :dunno

I think this the first in their Santa line. Santa Dobby and Santa Malfoy are next.

Wow, that's really stupid.
If they included his standard clothes as well, I'd buy one, but I can't imagine too many collectors wanting this to display. I suppose it'll appeal to fans of Sideshow's Santa Yoda and Christmas PJs Frankenstein and Dracula, but not too many others.
