Anyways for those bitching about Disney’s greedy 60-65% theater demands for TLJ get this....

Lucas demanded and received 100% of tickets sales from the theaters for TPM opening weekend.

He told them they would profit plenty from the increased traffic for concessions.

He also reduced 20th Century Fox to a mere distributor and got a bigger cut overall too.

After doing Episodes IV-VI he had to do I-III. Especially considering he didn't know if he'd do a third trilogy, he had to at least complete the first six.

Plus I like the idea of a different generation in each trilogy.

I do too. After the prequels there is a 20 year gap, and the focus of the story is no longer on Anakin or Obi-Wan, but the new characters of Luke, Leia and Han Solo. The trilogy after the original trilogy should also be about the next generation of characters (Rey, Kylo, Poe and Finn). I like the theme of every generation has a new story to tell in the continuing battle between the light and dark sides of the Force.
