Just picked this up for dirt cheap. Love it IMG_6999.JPG

Did they ever fix the arms on these guys? A 1/6 Tyson would be incredible but I don't want to shell out for a figure that's going to fall apart after a few poses.

2 posts back .....

sorry did not see that, I went straight the last page of posts.

$109 is a good price for Olympic Tyson.

it rarely pays to preorder anymore these days, prices drop often after release - 1/6 figures are generally made in plentiful supply now. And if there's enough pent up demand, the companies usually pump out more product (i.e. Hot Toys releasing more Star Wars after the initial allotment of Han, Chewie, etc sold out).

Storm sent replacement arms/legs to buyers who requested them, which supposedly fixes the issue.

But I have yet to see anyone post pics of Tyson flexing with the new replacement limbs so I'm not sure how much better they are.

I think the Olympic Tyson has the same defective arms/legs as the Youngest Heavyweight Tyson but I cannot confirm or deny that. I bought both of the figs off BBTS and got replacement parts for both.

I mean the problem is their joint design, not QC. They literally had wires inside the arm in place of a joint.

That I don't know. I'm guessing it's the same.

According to budgetstark's video's, the new Tyson coming out later this year has plastic/ratcheted joints instead of whatever the previous fig had.

I have an Mike Tyson Youngest Heavyweight Champion set with Replacement arms & legs for sale if anyone interested. Thanks.:wave

got my replacement arms and legs via manofactionfigs finally. the legs are just hollow sleeves, so hopefully the legs i have on fig now dont tear cuz swapping them wont be fun. gonna leave arms i have on now and pose w/o worry and if they rip use new ones.

Hi ya guyz and galz.

Any idea anybody as to whether the replacement arms people are selling around can be used on a HT body?

Than k you.
m.

Anyone know when the Tyson 1/4 statue is going up for preorder and what the price will be?

Tyson statue. Pic from Toyark:

What material is the Tyson made of? Is it poseable?

I remember the big *****storm that happened with the 1:6 figure. I still don't have the courage to pose him yet due to the fear of tearing.
