Could be a bad sign but Bethesta have come out and said they want the three elements (single player, MP and SnapMap) experienced as part of the full package, and as two of those require access to the server that won't launch prior to launch, the reviews will arrive on launch day instead.

Where's Polygon's Doom review?

I still have some faith in this game to be good.

I think it'll be all right, but nothing more. It's going to be horribly overshadowed by the likes of Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and perhaps Quantum Break however.

Im usually all for multiplayer but this is the one game I really hyope they nail the single player. I hope they make you work to get the new weapons and dont throw endless amouns of ammo at you.

Yeah I have to agree. Not really wanting anything from the new game and really not wanting anything from 3A

I used to love 3A, the designs are great. At least for the AK line. I got the MG Rex too.
But I hate they're business practices. They announce something and don't ever talk about it till right before preorder. And preorder is only available for 1 day. What the actual ******

Ugh. Can't recall which exact game it was, years ago that's for sure, but the company did the same thing and it ended up sucking...Hopefully that's not the case here.

Nope the cutscenes are long and the gamplay is nothing new. And while Ratchet may be a good game its nowhere near popular enough to overtake Doom. Maybe uncharted can but not ratchet.

Yea i think it'll get an 8 from alot of people. It brings us nothing too new but it looks very fun.

I'm on level 4 and so far it's really fun. Very smooth and addictive. Really enjoying it.

Whats this like? Cancelled my pre order of both this and Uncharted 4. Bit wary of being disappointed after Arkham Knight, MGSV, Division, Battlefront and Fallout 4.

Bought an Xbox One instead lol.

Have it on PC. Loving it. Seems like the hard-to-please Steam crowd also came around. I think Snapmap will be the ace in the hole for doctoring up the multiplayer (which is now the only thing people seem to take issue with).

Same here...LOVE the single player. and yeah the multiplayer (which I haven't tried yet since trying the beta) is kinda meh to me.

Awesome, looks like I won't be getting Doom until Monday.

I ordered from BB to have it shipped. Was scheduled for today and just a few moments ago got an email from ups telling me it's been rescheduled for Monday.

Just curious, do all same video games have the same bar codes on them? Example, two copies of Doom for PS4, will they both have the same barcode on the back?
