They are manually removing people one by one. I have been watching them do this for the last hour. I have no idea why they wouldn't just delete the group and make a new one for next year.

Huh, it doesn't show up in my list of groups. Maybe because I've been removed. I know I had a group that I started once and when I tried to get rid of it, it was a huge PITA. Maybe that's why they are deleting people.

Still don't think there's any way there is a group next year after the one this year.

Well, I just want to thank Pixelpiper and Co. ( guys managing the email lists and notifications), as well as Mr. Shawn Richter (Cofphoto). Even though I checked my FB and Twitter feeds constantly, I would not have been able to get the RP's I got (8/9) without their most valuable participation.

And thank you all for this week!!!

Even though last year I spend over 1,000 bucks on Spook, this time around the deals weren't attractive enough so I spent 0 this year... let' s see what the next deals are. Keep 'em coming!

Probably for the same products they couldn't sell during Spook with their crappy discounts.

Always glad to help. Although TBH I didn't send out a single code this year. Whoever did send them all out was totally on top of it though. Personally I was 9/9 for $60.

Didn't even enter any of the giveaways or contests this year even though I was told that I could. Now that we review products and get those, I feel dirty winning anything. Bad karma IMO.

Hopefully they don't get rid of the RP codes next year.

Why would they? You keep mentioning that they might not do this, or that....

That wouldn't be a wise business decision IMO, as high as their prices are nowadays, it helps some collectors buy stuff they otherwise wouldn't.

Any idea what to expect on Black Friday?

If this event is any indication, expect a 10% off on the HT Electro.

That wouldn't be a wise business decision IMO, as high as their prices are nowadays

I wish I could completely agree but Sideshow has been making some seriously questionable business decisions lately. A smart business decision would be to utilize the increased popularity of this event and offer even more discounts and RPs. The more people are excited about events Sideshow offers, the more they become invested in the products.

It was only sold via a lottery between Nov 3rd and 10th. After the 10th It is supposed to be released to other markets. US Bape store has no listing for it.

II have seen listings on Ebay today for BIN @ 2000.00 which is nutz, but that's how it goes for any of the Bathing Ape products. I dont get it since Bathing Ape is an urban clothing line.

That's my confusion with this release. I can't figure out if there's supposed to be a (slightly) wider release after the 10th or what? I got the first green camo version (MP-10A) through a Japanese proxy buyer that snagged it for me the day of release for a good price, but this one is driving me nuts.

Also, the green version popped up on random English-friendly Japanese sites that were reselling them, but they're not the usual sites like HLJ.com, Nippon-Yasan or Anime-Export. I'm hoping someone might recall any of those sites for me to keep an eye on as well.

Because people ruin everything. Waaaaaay too much negativity around Spook this year. Every group I was in that had to do with Spooktacular was full of people complaining, and people complaining about people complaining. It's as if Sideshow can't do enough. Pretty much everyone I know walked away with a minimum of $40 in RP but yet everyone is pissed off.

I haven't been doing Spook for that long, I know that the sales were clearly bigger and better last year, but is that the norm? Or is this year the norm, and everyone just remembers that last year was better and compares it to that? I don't know.

If the FB group is back next year I would be completely shocked. At the beginning of the week Susan was in there a lot. By the middle of Tuesday she was practically gone for the rest of the week.

When we make it not fun for them, they don't want to do it any more. Look at what everyone is saying this year, it's basically two things 1. "I got a bunch of free RP" and 2. "I didn't spend any money".

This is all just totally my opinion however. Personally I was thrilled to get another $60 in free money. But the event itself wasn't very fun because of all of the complaining.
