When I ship prints, usually they are in a 24" long tube and I ship via the USPS website via Priority. I've found that the shipping options I get are greater than if I ship USPS through Paypal.

Two were released it seems like, but only the one with zeroes still works-- SP00KY15 -- I tried it before checkout, but I already used it so can't save to wallet, etc.

i recently sent an iron patriot which i assume is equal or greater... think it was fl-ka... cost me around $18 for USPS priority thru my paypal acct

On the USPS price calculator, any dimension over 12" switches a Priority "package" to a "large package" but in reality some dimensions like 16 x 5 x 5 still would get me that $14.33 rate when I was checking through PayPal shipping.

I use Endicia. "Oversized Package" is from anything over 108 to 130". After that you use UPS or FedEx Ground - or freight.

USPS cuts special deals with some providers. First Class for example traditionally only goes up to 13oz, but I know that with a special deal via Stamps.com you can get it up to 15oz.

Oh, I am and I'm definitely not complaining (it is a free figure after all). I'm used to waiting a year +/- for a figure I've PAID for, but I was just curious if anyone knew the process. Susan, confirmed that she got my email, so I'm not 'worried' or anything. Just didn't know.

Who's talking about oversized packages? You said "online shipping tools don't need the dimensions at all if the figure is under 108." But it seems they do if one doesn't intend to cheat the post office or possibly have the package come back for missing postage. After a cubic foot it seems they use dimensional weight with Priority.

Solid advice! That gives me a reasonable time frame to wait before following up. I definitely don't want to bug them when they have paying customers (of which I'm one) to handle first! Can't have my paid orders held up on account of my FREE ones you know

You don't need to supply the measurements in the software nor send them to USPS, which is what I said. You have to manually select Oversized Package as an option when generating labels so you need to know approximately how big your box is.

Everything up to 108 was the same price given the weight as of the last time I screwed around with trying variables. That may have been a glitch in the software at the time. Let me check now.

OK, right now, dimensions can affect the price if you're under the volumetric threshold. That is, if your package is too light for its measurements, otherwise, the weight is the deciding factor.

For example, for a 64oz package (4lbs), you're looking at up to approximately 1700 cubic inches before the price changes. 10x21x8 as one possibility, 10x17x10 another, etc. If you fool around with fractional sizes you can get it up to close to 2000 cubic inches. Seems like they just use 60" to ballpark it - Length + girth again.
