I had a feeling we would see this one revealed today. Looks great but with me already having the Stormtrooper squad leader and the Snowtrooper on pre-order, I am not sure I want to throw all of my funds at just Black and White armoured soldiers. I would imagine there will be a steady reveal each month and at £200 a go I might have to skip this. I will want Phasma, Poe X Wing and Rey for certain, plus whichever Finn costume I like best. Then there is the possibility of an OT Emperor/Yoda/Lando. I still need Han and Chewbacca! :gah:

Im actually surprised they did not include a flame accessory. Really like their boots, much better than standard Storm Troopers

They produce a Spacetrooper:

"Hot Toys are just milking the Star Wars cow, no variation and they are just using the same moulds etc etc"

They produce a Flametrooper:

"Why can't they just use a Stormtrooper, why do they have to have distinct characteristics etc etc"

No pleasing some collectors.

I think they might be holding back on the other characters since there could be things giving away spoilers, so likely they want to hold those back so that they can release a more complete figure once the movie is out.

Distinct characteristics? It has a flamethrower. A Stormtrooper with a flamethrower is a Stormtrooper with a flamethrower. :lol There's no reason for it to be a separate class.

The Spacetrooper makes more sense as a class, but since the only difference in the design is a breather thing and a gun, I would say the same thing here - include that **** with a normal Stormtrooper figure.

But please, cry more about my opinion.

:lecture

Chewbacca with a detachable arm; Han with a detachable head; Kylo with detachable ears, and Leia with a detachable nose.

I really hope HT go slow with their release. I did like to acquire as many as I can afford.

At the current rate its simply getting very taxing to do catching up.

I don't think anyone of us here has got a notes printing machine at home...

Except the link with the German Army is undeniable and the German Army like any other has different classes of soldiers with differing uniforms. They even had a Flame-thrower (Flammenwerfer) Division - the Garde Reserve Pionier Regiment or “Deathshead Pioniers”.

You could just refer to all the soldiers as troopers, but they all had different training, skill sets, purposes and uniforms to boot.

If we look at the OT as WWI German Troopers and Ep VII etc as WWII - we should be Thankful there aren't more variants - as we'd all be flat broke.

WWII for eg.

I never understood why an army with laser guns etc. needed good old fashioned flame throwers but we'll find out. Looks super cool and likely a purchase....it's a trooper..don't need to see the film to decide whether to buy or not as their all back ground characters.
