Excellent looking figure, but I'm bored by the choice of them choosing to reveal this next. At least I think that's all the stormtrooper variants so far. Phasma is probably next.

Yeah it's hard to get excited about any of these to be honest until I see the flick. Even then I don't think I'd want all the troopers anyhow. Bring on some heroes!

Looks good. However, like the TIE pilot this is a wait and see for me.
Kylo, Trooper, Snowtrooper and the inevitable Phasma is enough for now.
If TFA kicks ass then I'll bite.

Yeahh you said it buddy:hi5:

For those who collect Troopers or Empire figures, this is great for them! At least there's some solid variation between the Troopers, and they all look like they have different functions! This guy next to a Stormtrooper, next to a Snowtrooper...they'll all look like individual soldiers with their own job to do. So thumbs up there!

That said, I'm not tempted by these guys at all. I held back on the Snowtroopers (though I do like their design!) and refrained from jumping on the nicely priced Tie Pilot too! Just too many coming out to grab everything. These guys will look great for those picking up the rest, but I can happily let these slide without the internal debate I had with the Tie Pilot! :lol

Phasma will be coming up next in all likelihood. I actually think they're out of all revealed Troopers after these guys! :lol I'm not surprised that the heroes are being held back for now. Spoilers MAY play a role in certain figures not coming out beforehand, but I think we'll be able to see figures like Poe in his X-Wing gear, and even an older Han Solo release. And hell, they could keep going on the Star Wars train with an OT Lando and such while waiting for the movie to come out!

Either way, exciting months ahead for Star Wars fans!

Not into this of the heavy trooper. Both seem pointless IMO. Just give a flame-thrower/heavy gun to a regular Stormtrooper...

The Snowtrooper on the other hand makes sense because it's supposed to be in an entirely different environment.

Where's the fun in that?

The Snowtrooper has the exact same basic helmet and some of the same armour under it's snowgear, so I'm guessing these guys would be the basic design for any
'extreme" condition combat/missions.

Are any of the troopers in this flick weathered? These troops need to see a little more action.

The First Order is basically remnants of the empire that went off and rebuilt forces. So until TFA they haven't seen much.

There is no fun in buying 100 of the same figure because they come with different guns. Why does there need to be an entirely different class to use a flame-thrower, or a bigger gun? :lol

Even the colored Clone trooper variants make more sense, as they signify rank.

Many of the flamethrower units in WW1 and WW2 looked different than standard infantry, besides, all the different types or troops has always been something that was great about SW. IMO anyway.

Having a flamethrower soldier at all is an attempt to draw parallels to WW2 I believe. There seems to be a real attempt in the images seen so far to remind us of the connection between the Empire/First Order and the Third Reich.
