Force Friday meant a ton of Star Wars figures hit the stores this weekend, but as a collector, the only Hasbro I'm picking up these days is the Black 6" series. That makes life easier - not easy, but easier. I managed to snag some of Wave 2 at a local Meijers, and I'm checking out the heroic Poe Damoren tonight:

or you can find it with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

That is the only product so far that contains one of the original trio and even then Lego Han is not emblazoned all over the box. My point still stands. Once the movie is released we'll see A LOT of Han, Luke and Leia. Until then there will be nothing.

Not true. Lego has an Old Han in the Falcon set.

Does anyone think that they may eventually make a ROTJ Boba Fett? It's my favorite look for him, and it would only require some minor retooling and a new paint job. (hopefully with a moveable rangefinder!)

Such a fun figure to shoot, I ended up making a slideshow and may do more, if this one does well. Hope you guys like it.

That is great, really highlights his articulation and posing potential. If I were to make one criticism, it's maybe a minute too long for a slideshow.

I wandered into my local toy store on Saturday and there were no Black Series figures at all, but I'll probably pick up Kylo and Phasma when I see them. The 3 3/4 stuff did not impress me.

Yeah, thanks. I wasn't planning on getting this figure but looks like that's changing.:lol

I appreciate the feedback. It being my first go-round, I didn't know which ones to get rid of out of the 40+ shots:lol 4 min does sound a bit long though if I'm not actually going to speak during the vid.

Hello everyone! Here's some of the stuff I picked up on Force Friday. I'll probably just collect the smaller stuff from here. Collecting this stuff takes me back to the late '90s.

I believe it's important to say something useful about such creative endeavors, rather that just "awesome video man!" The shots you took were all pretty good, but I'd suggest focusing on the action poses or ones with other figures. They show off the articulation well enough and there are plenty of varied visuals to keep the viewer interested. I hope you do one for Phasma too!

Yeah, love a lot of the BS, but Hasbro mustn't be too pleased with the Disney elite diecast figs.

Yeah, I bet they are pissed. They are also probably not too happy with Disney allowing Asian companies to make 6 inch figures. I bet the meetings where Disney negotiated the rights of the license after acquiring Lucasfilm were very painful for Hasbro. They probably ended up paying more and receiving less of a monopoly.

I think the collectors will be the biggest beneficiary of this. Between Hasbro, Disney Elite and Figuarts, we get a few more options between 6 and 7 inch scale

Does anyone know why there aren't any Hot Toys style U-stands for 6 inch figures? The only proper stands I can find grip the figure at the waist.

Predictions for Wave 3?

I'm thinking:

-Han Solo
-Maz Kanata
-Sarco Plank
-General Hux
-Flametrooper

Wave 4:

-Luke Skywalker
-C -3PO
-Stormtrooper Finn
-Teedo

Wave 5:

-Snoke
-Leia
-R2-D2
-X-Wing Fighter Kylo Ren
-X-Wing Fighter Ello Asty
