Snagged Kylo and Finn at Wal-Mart and PO a FO Stormtrooper from bbts. No good paint on the Rey's around my area and Chewie was everywhere.

I NEED this....like ASAP! Too bad Disney Store's website is sold out of her. Guess I will have to keep an eye on the site because the closest one to me is in Indianapolis.
If you want a decent Phasma in scale with TBS, I'd wait for the Figuarts version.
Wookies live for several hundred years. Chewbacca was said to be like 200 in the original movie, which was like early to mid 20's by comparison to humans, so he'd now be like 230. But 30 years to a wookie would be like 5-6 years for us so he's only say in his 30's... He's still young in relation to Wookie lifespans..

Found Kylo, Chewie and FO Stormtrooper today. Very pleased with Kylo, he looks really cool, and I'm really digging the closed mouth head sculpt on Chewie. I originally wasn't planning on getting the Stromtrooper, but he looks so awesome side-by-side with Kylo, I just had to pick one up.

Diecast Phasma looks good, but looks very skinny to me. Like the helmet is wider than both hips.

I just bought the Kylo Ren and Stormtrooper figs just for S's and G's, and those figures are awesome. I was thinking they would be a wobbly wreck but these figures had tight joints that really hold!

I haven't been in the loop lately; I had no idea Force Awakens figures were already out. I am very tempted to buy Kylo, but I feel a bit silly spending £20 on a figure of a character I know nothing about, and I don't know if I'll even like the character. What if he ends up being the next Jar Jar? I dunno if I should take that risk. I'll gladly see the movie, in fact I'm really excited for it. But I don't know if I want to buy merchandise before seeing it. The prequels have really made me "twice shy".

My local stores didn't have a ton left when I went out. I had a Chewbacca in hand and was almost going to get it but I put it down. Saw him and Finn mostly and a couple Kylo Ren figures. Kind of glad I waited on Kylo Ren as I see K-Mart has a cool exclusive coming out with a snow base and some snow paint apps on his boots. I feel like Force Friday wasn't as big as it could have been to be honest. Some stuff that was cool came out but yet a lot of it didn't really feel like must get items.

Han, Luke, and Leia are all probably embargoed by Disney until the release of the movie. Notice not a single piece of available merchandise from any company has them on it.
Or they just may not have that important of a role in the new movie. Remember the new trilogy is about Rey, Finn and Poe. Back in the OT days, they didn't put much emphasis on supporting cast such as Ben, Lando and such merchandise wise. The old cast is mostly involved for older fans and related items might be less of a general release than front and center new heroes we'll get to see everywhere from bed sheets to toothbrushes.
