Alexandria doesn't sit well with me either, it's too inviting and too accepting. Even Woodbury and Terminus felt more realistic. "Oh we just met you? Let me give you a house, let me give you a job, let me cater to your needs" Darryl is honestly playing more like the audience is feeling than anything else.

Maybe they are so inviting because they NEED Rick's group and their particular skillset in their community...

Oh and just how tall is that Alexandria leader? Rick, who isn't a tall dude, towered over her. :lol

She's 5'3". Lincoln is 5'10", but probably close to 6' with his boots on. That's a solid 8-9" differential.

I don't know if it was solely for storytelling or what, but if I was Rick or in his group, I would be more inquisitive about how the place runs. Right now it's been pretty vague what all the "jobs" are around the community, and you only found out about supply runs later on (second day?). So yeah, I would want to know about supply runs, how they guard the walls, how many people currently live there, what do they all do, is there survival training, is there a breach contingency plan, how many weapons, etc. Like I said, I don't know if they just left that out for the sake of storytelling just to keep the audience in the dark or are the characters just as uninformed.

Carol is being very clever and I wonder if it's something she and Rick talked about beforehand. She was already playing the part when she was handing over her weapons--she was doing it meekly and clumsily. And poor Darryl! He really seems like a caged animal. And he realizes he has no place in a "civilized" community. He thrives in survival mode and he is even heralded a hero. He was an outsider before the apocalypse and he fears he will become an outsider again and is just trying to avoid being rejected by not joining in the first place.

I think the girl might have been delivering food to the people the community kicked out, who were probably her family.

And I think Michonne is being a little too quick to accept the situation. I would imagine her being just as wary as Rick. Nothing wrong with being cautious but still taking advantage of this respite.

You know it's a ####ed up community when they just let you join with no explanation of the rules or anything.

I'm surprised Michonne is so willing to accept that the place is safe. I guess she's just had enough of struggling to survive and wants to believe this place is what they've been looking for.

I think it's clear that several of the members will find it hard to adapt. Rick only mentions taking over the place if need be to Daryl and Carol. Daryl has shown he is not accepting it at all and Carol is making herself appear weak to them. Rick knows these 2 are the ones that will be with him. It's the rest of the group he has to worry about. We haven't seen Abraham, Rosita or Maggie's thoughts on the place. Glenn as had a run in with the leader's son, however Maggie will highly influence any decision he makes.

We can already see that Rick's female neighbour is likely to cause problems between Rick and her husband. He looks like he's going to become someone to watch out for.

These people have no idea how to survive, they haven't had to live outside of the walls since the Fall happened. They will not like Rick's group taking charge over them, but if Rick disagrees with how the community is being run, he won't stand back and allow any danger to come to his family.

I see that Carol is playing the long con since she was struggling to get that automatic weapon off of her shoulder, like she didn't really know what she was doing. Did she display too much strength during the time Aaron was watching the group, or will her act fool them?

I for one was happy to see clean shaven Rick again. I loved Michonne's reaction.
Too bad Daryl couldn't clean himself up a bit.

Michonne getting a place to stay was about boning Rick, not being in a safe place. Twice in the last episode she got up to talk to Rick at the window and the second time I thought she was going to ask him to go upstairs.

That's the thing now. They have male stars shave their chests. I guess they think women like that sort of thing.

Sorry, not this woman.

Some do :lol I don't think there's anything wrong with it, a lot of guys do it because they don't like the hair either, and not just because some women like it, but it's just weird for guy to do that during a zombie apocalypse :lol Apparently on Rick's list of priorities, shelter is #1 and in a close second, chest hair grooming :dunno

yea, lets grow a beard to invite those deer ticks like a deer. when opportunities arise, groom in the world of apocalypse. not like there's freezing snow that one would need bodily hair to keep warm.

Yea, I don't get the point of the braces on the OUTSIDE. Definitely the idea of a congresswoman.

it actually does work better. It was explained somewhere else Ill look for it, but for some reason it is meant to work
