How many Caps are there now? Jeesh.. not unexpected though. I would add both T1 terminators to that dream list up there and RoboCop. Still waiting for 84 Reese, T1 endo, Rocky, Rambo..hell anything cool from the classics.

Oh, and the Returns Batman of coarse.

And I love how mostly everyone says:

"This is the best Cap ever"

"This is THE cap to own"

"I'll never need another Cap"

How pathetic and ****ing repetitive that sounds, specially when the ****ing thing looks like a Stunt double for Evans (that's nowhere to be seen on those pics).

**** Captain America. I'll never understand the appeal on someone full of steroids that has a magic shield.

'MURICA!

I think it looks good. I don't see why one has to hate something just because they like another.

I like this new cap but I'm holding off on marvel until I can see all the options and pick a version of the character I like best. I don't need 3 caps or 40 iron men. Dc on the other hand, I'll buy them all

I have every HT Cap. Cant help it he's my favorite Marvel character. As long as he's cranked out Im buying. 'Murica.

Hey, I like Captain America.

Yeah, it's annoying and seems a little too soon (didn't Stealth Suit JUST come out? :lol), but it is what it is. This is the reality of the hobby. Better than another Iron Man I say.

Yeah, I don't buy Marvel Hot Toys, but that Cap looks pretty impressive. I think the likeness is awesome.

I have zero love for the character. I don't get what's so great about him. Of course that's solely my opinion.

Never watched the movies, read the comics, and likely never will.

I'm going to say that it's probably a demographical thing.

That's really not fair. I'm sure someone could say about the same thing about batman. Specifically between 89 and returns. Or begins and tdk and tdkr. And the. Armory.

People can say the same type of stuff about Batman. The whole argument that batman is in the justice league because they need someone to save. A rich boy over compensating. What's the appeal of a billionaire in ninja gear? That's not how I feel, I love batman. But I also like Cap. I can't see the point of trashing someone else's likes.

What is this, the eighth Captain America since 2012?

- First Avenger
- USO Classic
- Rescue
- Avengers costume
- Smithsonian classic version
- Stealth Suit
- Civilian

- Avengers 2

Yup, has as many figures as Keaton, West and Bale Batman figures combined (if you exclude Fear Toxin Ghoul, 1/4, and 1/12 mini Bat).

- '66 Adam West
- 1989 Batman
- Begins v1
- OC
- TDK v1
- DX 02
- TF Begins
- DX 12/Armory

Thanks, buddy, that's what I thought.

At this point, should any of us be shocked? Really? It's a Marvel World, bizzatches. We're just living in it.

Thor is getting up there too.

I loved the sleeves/no sleeves version that went up back to back in 2013. 2 releases in one day. :lol AOU Thor will be that one, but with new paint.

Black Widow has a good amount to her name too. What, 4 now?

It is kind of ridiculous. I wonder how long this comic book movie trend will continue. It is already getting a little old and DC hasn't even shown up yet.

Dx12 and armory are unique releases. The avengers 2 cap is not released yet.

Point is, batman is batman. Same character. Different costume. Same thing as Cap. Same character, different costume.

As for it being a marvel world...you can't blame marvel for DC not making movies.

There's also Arkham City Batman, forgot about that one. Cap counts though, it's up for order, it'll be released. It counts as 8.

True, you can't blame Marvel, no, but you can blame Hot Toys.

You can blame hot toys? How's that? What DC movie is neglected, other then returns? Which may or may not get made, but that may or may not be hot toys fault.

Green lantern is the only modern (last 15-20 years). With batman and robin and batman forever though I would buy the figures, I don't know that they would sell well.

Hot toys has gone to more obscure sources for DC them they have for marvel. There are no Marvel TV character figures (coulson was from avengers when made). But DC has Batman and Robin from the 60s show. There are no Marvel video game figures. But DC has Arkham batman. hot toys seems to have tried harder with DC then they do with Marvel. I just don't see how hot toys could be blamed for DCs lack of Film releases. Once the new DC universe kicks off the numbers will probably equal out of the popularity does. I see no reason why it wouldn't.

And for the record or in case someone wants to call me biased, I love batman and superman and am currently, and have been for a couple years now, working on the superman v batman/justice league movies.

What DC movie is neglected, other then returns?

Superman II
Superman IV
Batman Forever
Batman and Robin
Swamp Thing
Supergirl
Watchman (one figure really doesn't count)
Steel
Jonah Hex
Constantine
V for Vendetta
Red
Red 2
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
The Losers
Stardust
Wonderwoman (Tv series Lynda Carter)
The Flash (Tv series John Wesley Shipp)

List goes on and on. Not to mention Green Lantern...and who is to say any new DC movies coming out will be made by Hot Toys...

Stop being a Howard Chan apologist, it's unbecoming.:lol They didn't make any Marvel video game figures because no Marvel video game that wasn't a crossover has ever been really good, and, even then, DC got lucky with the Arkham series in that they managed to make a game that transcended the "licensed" game market and became a AAA title. Same deal goes for Batman; it was one of the most iconic TV series of the 20th century, and, with the resurgence in popularity that came with all of the merchandise and upcoming Blu-Ray sales, Howard saw an opportunity to make money, and, contrary to popular belief, people aren't upset that HT makes Marvel figures.

They're upset because those Marvel figures are always treated as the number one priority. As much as I like that new Cap figure, the frustration is understandable, and, when I look at it in the same light, it is frustrating that it's been three years of nothing for Returns, while Cap and Iron Man are announced almost 4 months before the movie hits theaters. Even Star Wars, as cool of a license as it is, they announce the license, and, within 4 months, they've already announced 8 figures between 1/6th and 1/4 Scale. I guess people are wondering why Howard is able to live up to his promise that Star Wars was "coming soon," but not Batman Returns.:dunno

Have you seen the movies on this list? Not much quality here with only one or two exceptions (Superman II, Wonder Woman TV series). Hot Toys will most certainly make future DC offerings as long as they do a bit better in the box office than, say, Steel.
