That Vader being as tall as Sideshow ANH version, the lack of complaining on that specific detail surprises me.

hot toys star wars figures are not going to look right first time if they did then who would buy versions four, five and six always and they also know that it will sell no matter what it looks like. Slightly improving from the last version makes us part with our money(not saying it right). How many versions of Mr Stark which didn't really look anything like him but he still sold out and now they finally got it right.

Yeah, the height.. hmm.

It's funny / frustrating isn't it; they make their Predator figures under scaled when they're supposed to tower over a human, & now it's like they're just being ***holes for the fun of it, by almost matching the SSC Vayda scale.

To me the only real improvement over the SS Vader is the smaller-sized mask within the helmet (the SS one being way too freakin big). But that alone isn't really enough reason for me to want to buy this.

Still gonna purchase it despite some flaws. Now I am waiting for the PO date, then waiting to PO since SSC site will no doubt freeze or crash or something.....

anyone else notice the Velcro on the back of the hands? at least that's what it appears to be to hold the glove portion in place

says approx 35cm tall. If that includes the stand then its perfect. Otherwise 33.6 cm is what he should be. Correct?

Take a closer look at the description. 35cm is for the body only.

ANH chest box didn't light up.

Vader shouldn't be taller than 13.5" in sixth scale. And that's fully clothed and armored. Anything taller than that is an immediate fail.

Chest box had no lights, but the belt boxes did.

Really tempted to buy, but if I knew for certain that a 1/4 ESB Vader was on the way I would pass.

Looks awesome but I have both SS vaders and can't see me buying a third at the mo. But I guess when I eventually see it in real life I may regret it

Like many people have said, this lacks the ANH 'menace' but still looks solid. I will definitely get this, and if the inevitable ESB/ ROTJ Vaders look better than I will get one of those and then try weathering the ANH Vader.
