I'm keeping it simple. Basically the DX10 head is gone and I'm switching out the jacket. So I'll have the opportunity to display both sculpts. I'm gonna hold onto my last MMS117 for the clean shotgun over shoulder look.

The only thing that'll look "off" will be the chest area on the DX10. Good thing I don't fuss over accuracy and whatnot.

I have done exactly the sme thing. One dx 10 body + partial bd with jacket on scan mode, one full bd sculpt with rod (all frm dx13)and one dx10 as is. So i dont need to buy another body especially when the body has way more damage than what he had in partial bd mode. So one way or the other its inaccurate to begin with.

LOL I recently watched T2 to spot the amount of damage before his head takes the hits. Damn does his chest blow out fast in that scene :lol

I like the background and lighting effects, hope it is the picture quality because it looks more like Matt Damon as a mannequin IMO :dunno

I think the sculpt is looking a bit different cause i clicked the pics from the floor at a 30deg tilt and hence you can see more of his nose bottom and less of his nose bridge and hence the difference. Also, the cabinet i have has a thick glass and that makes it a bit hazy.

Exactly... I think or of what i remember he gets a couple of chest hits before the head hit and hence the damage gets exponential. You can barely see the damage in the scan mode when he is looking for t1000. To add to that the damage on dx13 is way too excessive. I was trying to pose him with the rod trying to get up, but as soon as you bend that bd knee you see so much of skin / damage it looks way overdone. And the pant is torn in excessive so you start seeing too much of his thigh.

So long answer short, i am completely fine with using the partial bd jacket on a dx 10 body with semi damage sculpt as one way or another it will be inaccurate.

OK ****, I just received my DX13 exclusive from Sideshow, and there's a huge white mark down the front of the pants! Surely this cannot be deliberate battle damage right?!!?

I can't see this mark on any of the other pics in this thread!!

Here's a wider shot that shows it VERY clearly!! Surely this is a fault right!!

What do you guys think? At this moment, I'm definitely thinking of emailing Sideshow overnight and calling them in the morning!!

It's still a great idea and attempt. I wish I had those resources, Have to figure out what ideas I can come up with when mine arrives.

Call them and see what they say, I think they will give you a replacement pair of pants.

it looks like a crease to me, but I don't have yours in hand. :dunno

Is it the lighting why are the pants so faded, unless that's simulated wear n tear for the BD.

BTW how's the rest of the figure..any other problems?

It's not a crease due to the figure's body cos there's nothing under that area to crease it. And it doesnt rub off with water and I dont want to try with any chemicals.

Normally I wouldnt bother, but this mark is just too noticeable.

Don worry, they will send you a spare pant or ask you to cancel this one and get another one. Unless you have an ex. In that case 4-5 weeks later you will get a pant. If you take cash back may be 25 bucks or so.

Hmm is the white line the long line or just the top part of the line and the bottom is a crease? :slap

If it's the long line definitely contact SS asap! :lecture

For those who wanted to see it in the red lighting ... these are through the thick glass (my old *** shelves) and hence the clarity is not good. I am waiting for my detolfs to come in as then i can open and click pics which would hopefully be better.

Love these pics right here. The bad quality makes it look like a scene from the Steel Mill. Don't think it takes away from the amazing sculpt at all.:clap

Definitely contact Sideshow for a replacement and they definitely will get the issue resolved. When something came in defected, damaged etc. for me. They have always helped me out and sent me a replacement. A+ Communication and Customer Service Department.

Check out Batbrain's pic on page 911. Looks similar to me. Now, everyone is going to have different degrees of weathering due to the nature of these being done by hand.

I wish you luck getting a replacement but I have a feeling Sideshow may not oblige this particular gripe.

Yeah everyone got the same one,

yours was when the brush was really fresh...

What I would be more upset about is a lack of weathering.... thankfully I've managed to dust mine up really nice.
