The internet is full of people who think they are forum police. SMH. Oh well. Just because someone annoys me or I don't agree with them doesn't mean I would ban them.

Oh well. Next month will be awesome. Can't wait for Mantenna. :D

No it's a captive market, it doesn't seem like one. There's one retailer and no competition. No one is saying you must buy but if you want to buy MOTUC at retail you have to buy from them.

Actually, the best place to buy is from secondary vendors. For instance, there is a vendor that is selling Jitsu near me for $40. Now, that's pretty fair, because he was the one that paid for shipping. If I was to buy it from Matty itself when it came out, I would be paying just that for Jitsu with the increased cost of shipping, which is the main thing that put me off from collecting directly from Matty. I can get you just about any figure you want for relatively decent prices.

At the Power Con yesterday, I was able to buy Vikor, Bow, Castaspella, He-Man Galactic Protector, and the Strobo all for $125, around the same I would have spent (actually it was a little less) if I had purchased directly from Matty.

Yeah but that's always a gamble. You can't be guaranteed to be able to do that and in most cases they cost a lot more on the secondary market. Like if I can't manage to get the Horde Troopers and Mantenna they'll be hell to get.

Well, the thing is, apparently the hecklers have some pull with the mods there, to be honest, I don't know who the hell they are, but apparently their feelings were hurt because I called them trolls and clowns... which is basically what they are... apparently I should just call them "passionate"... that.s the P.C. term nowadays...

Whatever, I was there, and more than one person felt it was rude, annoying and embarrassing to hear these guys make fool of themselves... specially when their complaints are nitpicks. But whatever...

For a moment, I thought the guys were drunk or something, because for me it's hard to comprehend how a grown *** adult can behave like a 6 y.o...
Even the little kid at the panel told them: "Who cares?" :lol

Clearly, you should have made it as a protected thread.

Teemu, this and only this, was how this came up. I already expressed that people have the right to voice displeasure about a product they buy, but they could have simply waited another 10 minutes to voice their displeasure instead of blurting out interruptingly.

All this extra stuff about paying customer is nonsense...you want to know why? Because your money and purchasing power is what's going to dictate what Mattel does or does not do.

I see a lot of people that willingly let these corporations hold them by their testicles by giving them more power than they truly have. You don't need to buy a subscription. If they say we need to hit subscription numbers to continue to do this, you know what I say....OH WELL!!!!!:pfft:

But I stand by the fact that THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. :lecture There are many businesses that have this model and are doing just fine.

It's ovious you never worked in retail before....If I told my customers that they are not always right and that their input didn't matter as a "paying customer",then I would lose business, lose a customer, and possibly lose MORE customers (as word of mouth spreads)

You're right! I don't have to buy a Sub...but I enjoy MOTU,so I deal with it (For now).I have been here since the 1st figure, supported this line through all its BS,But 2014 may be my last Sub because the majority of the figures have been made (will be made).plus not having the room to house much more.I then can walk away happy with this collection.

I don't think you deserved to get banned, you have your opinion...but that said....(read below)

One of those Hecklers was BCRDUKE (Brian Rooney)...I watched the panel video (and yes you can cleary hear the banter) and it wasn't that bad as you made it out to be...(I read all the comments on the Org)

To say they should of been escorted out by security is ridiculous at best and quite telling about yourself under certain situations.

What I heard were passionate fans, whether over the top or not, they have the right to have their opinion over product they are PAYING for.

The Glimmer diaper issue commented wasn't that bad either and I actually agree she could be done better. The Sorceress chair was discussed at the end during QnA...so they did nothing wrong there because it was discussed at that time.Me personally,I could care less if Sorceress can sit in the throne or not because I have my own canon and like toyguru said "It's anyone's Castle"

You complain about people getting overly excited over toys, but you also do the same thing (but mostly more in a positive way because you as a person seem to be more accepting) while some do it in a negative way, which I don't see anything wrong with....we all know their just toys, but some are more passionate and feel that we are paying top dollar for the toys we get and should get what they hope for (I hope you can respect that)

The most annoying part was the little kid in the front row interrupting every minute and speaking out loud (but he was just a kid among a group of adults talking about toys)...should we of escorted him out too?

anyways,it's this not an attack on you...just how I view the situation

Here's the thing, and I wrote that at the .org
Unfortunately for me, the people recording the panel were at the very front. These guys were 2 rows in front of me, and they were YELLING... but in the video you can hardly hear them because they didn't have mics on them. I talked to a lot of people after the panel that were really annoyed, specially the ones who were sitting around them.
I wish I would've recorded it myself, but it was quite pathetic.

Now, I am not saying that they are not allowed to voice their opinion, but they did it in a VERY rude and annoying manner, specially for those who were sitting around them trying to enjoy the panel. In the video you cannot tell, but they kept *****ing after they got their answers and it was quite annoying. But whatever...

And finally, no, the kid shouldn't be escorted, he's 7 years old and barely has social skills, but the other 3 guys, are grown *** men, who are supposed to know how to behave in public.

I might have. But like I said, I blame the grandparent on this one. I think it's great though that a younger generation can appreciate the things we older people grew up with. Keep MOTU alive. :clap

Are you outside of America? Because I understand what you are saying in this case.

But if you are domestic, there are passionate fans (like me) that could get you the Horde Troopers or Mantenna from a seconday vendor. That's one of the great things about fourms. Meeting all kinds of people that can help one another.

Believe me, I know I am VERY outspoken, but I am a very gentle and kind guy that would love to help anyone if its possible. And usually, He-man.org is a great place to buy figures for decent prices. I don't begrudge anyone for trying to make a few bucks. I just don't like when some price gouge. Like Fisto going for $150? That's ridiculous.

Well,I wish I was there..I can see you point of view if they kept going and going after it was brought up..

BCRDuke is POP'S biggest guy cheerleader and I honestly think he is a troublemaker when it comes to his girly POP toys and pushing his "you must like POP" views on others...(I've read his many org posts and his little "why you should accept POP" article on Fwoosh)

Cool vid! I never understood how people could compare He-man vs Lion-O. Sure they both have magical swords, but He-man is Superman /Hulk super-strong and Lion-O is really strong (maybe power-lifter strong). The Power Sword is indestructible, but the Sword of Thunderra is a normal sword with a powerful magical jewel. Swords aside, He-man is much stronger than Lion-O, though they are both really cool 80's icons.

I've worked quite a bit in the retail industry. The abusiveness of some customers is what hinders me from ever going back to it. :lol

Customers can't always have it their way. There is a lot of leeway for the customer, and the company should try and be as accommodating as possible, but NEVER should a company let a customer run ramshod and speak to their employees any old way they want.

Hell no, no way!

Thundercats is quite over-rated and doesn't even have the near def that MOTU has...He-Man would Destroy Lion-o

Now,I wouldn't mind a Thundercats Classics line using the MOTU buck though

Quite pathetic IMO... but whatever...

And as I said, later on at the Mattel boot they kept yelling and ranting over the same stuff with Scott and Ruben and that's when I think they should've definitely been escorted out of there...

Well, most companies I know and worked for...you really can't lash back at customers unless you want to get in trouble (written up) or lose your job...

I do agree with you from a certain standpoint...

Ugh, POP-Core. lol. I like POP, and I'm a completist, but to try to shove POP down our throats? This is He-Man, not Barbie. lol. I think the POP figures are fantastic looking, but it still doesn't change the fact that in a line dominated by Barbarians and warrior females, POP's Barbie meets Fantasy isn't going to gel with everyone.

It's cool, but you aren't going to win anyone over by shoving it down their throats. lol. Also, I think Glimmer looks great, the "panties" really aren't a big deal to me, I really don't see the problem. It's more like a skirt to me than panties anyway.

We all like what we like, you can't change that. I think what becomes annoying is when people are rude, defensive, and stubborn when discussing things. If you are going to take part in a discussion you should be open minded. Why else discuss something? Discussion isn't just you telling people what you think, but responding to what other people think and learning together. :)

missing this one..

from the QnA panel...it was hinted that the Filmation Hover Robots are Coming

Totally agree. I am not in charge of a huge corporation, but selling on ebay has taught me that there are some customers you just don't want to do business with, even if it hurts your bottom line. It's just not worth it and that's why there is a blocked bidder list. Some people are unrealistic and even a bit mental so you just can't reason with them. Those are the people I don't mind tuning out because I'm not going to get anywhere with them.

Oh, those would be swell :clap Hopefully they can find a spot for the 200X Skeleton Warriors also but that may be a tough sell. Hmmm. What do you think teemu?

believe me,I know what it's like to deal with Irate and unrational people (customers)...I'll never forget a customer calling 911 because policy wouldn't allow her to get her money back, even when offered an exchange for the same thing for something she blatantly broke (cracked in half video game disc)...I'll never forget when the Cop told her that this was NOT an emergency and took her info :lol

Skeleton Warriors? I REALLY want them! especially to Army build...they could be the best looking Armies in the whole line

Will we get them? I really hope they show in 2015..(if we get there)

Yes, the Hover Robots was mentioned and even the 4H had this look that pretty much says, "we're working on them" :lol
I really hope so!

I actually asked ToyGuru about the Skeleton Warriors at the Mattel booth since they already sculpted the Skeleton heads for the Grayskull elevator. He smiled and said, would you prefer Skeleton Warriors vs. Other figures... I told him Skeleton Warriors!!! :lol!
