This hobby,as well as enjoyment of the figures themselves,teaches a person patience.And that can only ever be a good thing.

True that. Not also does this hobby teach us patience, it also taught many of us that patience is expensive. Can't wait 3 more months to get a figure from SSC? Get the first stock from HK sellers, for a huge mark up

I just canceled my preorder that I placed in Feb of 2012. I just can't spend that kind of money on a 3 foot long plastic car that will take up my entire room, even if it IS the coolest freaking car that ever existed.

I'll just make due with the 1/18th Mattel version that's already next to my HT Batman.

I'll be enjoying all of your pictures of course. Living vicariously through you. Hopefully I don't end up regretting this!!

I know it was for the best and if I DID buy this I'd have insane buyer's remorse...but a little piece of me is upset about really giving up on this thing!

I totally understand where you are coming from. I am $94 away from owning this bad boy. I am too close to give up now. This is the Holy Grail Piece of my collection.

I am close to doing the same. I have it on PO at BBTS and I'm running out of room as well. I had the Tumbler and sold it thinking this would be the better piece but now I've got so many other POs and little room for a huge vehicle so I'm content with the Batpod as my lone vehicle.

Just saw my final flexpay on this got bumped again from the 5th to the 15th but it's only 2 days before SDCC so I don't expect Sideshow to have this shipped before then.

We all been waiting forever some all thier life for something this flipping cool.... Only few more weeks til comic con and we will hopefully see this final finished version of the batmobile set up one more time before ships...Noooooooooo way will i ever cancel if takes another what ever this will be mine.........

Just saw my final flexpay on this got bumped again from the 5th to the 15th but it's only 2 days before SDCC so I don't expect Sideshow to have this shipped before then.

wait they only bumped it from july 5th to july 15th? If that's the case then we really are close!

I know SSC won't have these shipped out before SDCC so we are looking at the very end of July or first week of August before these start arriving on our doorsteps.

yeah...that is weird but I think they did that just so they don't have another Mark VII fiasco where they bump back the flex pays too far and then it ships a month earlier.

It's weird that they only bumped it 10 days instead of the usual month, but I don't believe this means the release is any more imminent, especially since no final pics have been shown, as everyone has noted.

I'm sticking with my prediction of November, based on how late the first release Tumbler was.

That would be cool if Sideshow got this first or at the same exact time they get it in Asia. Wishful thinking, I know.


This had happened with other releases before. I remember thinking it was odd that DX Indiana Jones hit Sideshow first.

SDCC will have the same display from last year, just the cockpit open, no lights turned on, no gadgets displayed.

I will just shrug at HT and move on with life.

Yup.

I'm hoping for HT to show confidence in this piece by presenting an 89 Batmobile in all its glory, showing everything it has offer on display.

Batman standing next to it in the middle of the show room floor, just those 2 under a gigantic acrylic case.

HT should make collectors looking at it sad that they didn't preorder it, make them feel like they should've cancelled another expensive piece for this one instead.

Bam, show the world that a 24 year old movie can make for exciting collectibles right along Sideshows Man of Steel pieces.

C'mon HT, stop hiding behind the curtain and engage your damn customers already!
