The question needs to be asked, Can 1/6th scale customs be valued and respected as a true art form? I think the whole issue here is really a matter of perspective. This figure is most definately not a toy,but rather a piece of this man's art.The time involved in making something of this magnitude has to be staggering including planning, sculpting, painting, tailoring, sewing and when the end result is this good you know that whoever is creating this is a artist and is really passionate about their work.I think a lot of people here are in the "mass produced" mind set and are not willing to accept a scratch built figure limited to a "one off" or 25 pieces as "art". IMHO 1200.00 is not too much for this figure because of the quality and time it took to make this.People pay a lot more than this for a sculpture,a vintage star wars toy,or paint thrown at a canvas, so I don't think this is any less deserving monetarily speaking.
