Figure looks good, but I honestly don't know now if I should cancel my order with BBTS. I don't think I'm in the safe zone (financially) yet with getting this figure, however, I AM paying less than $100 for this guy, and if I do decide to buy him again after cancelling, then I'm S.O.L.

Easy there Unclechopchop. I hope I was one of the folks you are ripping into..I for one wasn't comparing it to HT. I actually said I know this is not a HT. I just don't like the look for 80-100 bucks.
I think the shoulders look strange, and the calfs look thin, and the hand repulsors are orange. I am not expecting HT level for 80-100 bucks, but at least I don't want it to look wonky. I for one have not experienced all the QC issues stated about HT Iron Man Armors. So I guess I am a bit bias, and picky...sorry...

I don't really aim comments at just one person. Some people just need to get a grip and stop gripin. So no targets on you my friend. I just aim at people that are being difficult, when In all reality, they probably shouldn't be.

I'm still goin to pick this up!I'm not goin to see a 1/4 scale Ironman from anyone else for awhile and after i battle damage the $H!T outta him,he won't look so bad!^_^

I think $80 is a great price. What frustrates me is that it cost £80 in the UK

If it were a proper conversion then I'd be all over it for £50!!

Those latest pics are selling me on the figure more.

For me it's just I will likely only have 1 Iron man piece so I'm juggling the decision on this vs Avengers vs mk42 vs WM2. I understand it's under $100 but that money could go toward a flawless HT figure.

Flawless? Pfft! Wait about six months, and bring on the pink!
But not to sound too harsh, I hope you get what you want ultimately and I also hope HT finally fixes their problems.

Hey here's a couple of PICS of my WIP of my Capt.America.He's about 20% done so i'm nowhere near finished!I still have to add more detail to the face and his eyes are only temps until i decide which way i want them staring.I still have to add more darker color to the suit.Also,with the new PICS of Ironman that have popped up,i've decided to go the battle damage route so i'm going to have to make-over Cap as well his shield.If anyone can direct me to some PICS. of him with mask on battle-torned,PLEASE show me the way!Anyway,i'll post some more updates as well as Ironman as soon as i get him next week.

Looks like a Hot Toys figure to me, seriously.

Other than the hand repulsor LED colors and gaps in between some articulation points, I have a hard time finding anything "wrong" with this figure.

- super articulated

- LED features

- great paint applications

- big boy scale

- 80 bucks




This pic REALLY puts things in perspective,

Just the size of it makes Hot Toys' look like a Hasbro figure with great paint apps.

I should have one as soon as NECA has a review sample available and I'll get lot of photos up.

Honestly, I think this is going to be one of the best all-around figures of the year: well sculpted, well painted, well articulated and at a good price for what you get.
