I have almost every IM armor up to now and this might be the first time I may have to pass. If the die-cast cost a lot more and knowing how it will chip, it's pretty easy to pass this one. Really cool figure though.

As it should be. Die cast figures aren't new. Good luck finding any of them over 5 years old without the paint chipped.

I consider die-cast to be sucker bait.

I have some old code 3 star wars die-cast vehicles that are old and fine and I do no not move my figures around much. I have no experience with die-cast figures, Will they chip with very little use?

That is stupid. Normal Plastic MMS are great and I dont understand why I will have to pay extra 100-120$ for Diecast one with less of accesories.

That's the beauty of it - you don't have to pay anything at all! That's what I'll be doing :wink1:

i am going to wait until they hopefully do the mms version, same story with the mark 42 i want it in mms not pps

I want at least one 1/6 die cast IM figure, & experience what it's like 'in hand'. This might be the cheapest option (sorry 'Play Imaginative'), so I'm pretty excited about it. It definitely does look pretty cool.

Depends if you like reposing it. Metal on metal will chip. Inevitably.

Got the news from my local seller here selling iron patriot for US$280 :yess:

It says 'DIECAST figurine'
What does that mean?

It means it's made of a diecast metal, and the paint will chip when you repose it. Maybe not the first time, but inevitably....

I reckon diecast is for suckers though, so don't mind me.

Diecast will chip. For sure.

Really nice looking figure though.

diecast metal will chip, we get it :slap

Do you think the diecast paint will chip.............?...........................................................................................................

:lol:lol:lol

It says 'DIECAST figurine'
What does that mean?

Means its not a Figure, not yet a Doll, still a Figurine! :lol:lol

Just joking, apparently, HT is trying to use a different term to "distinguish" the new die-cast series from the MMS, PPS and everything else.

I don't understand HT's sudden fascination with diecast, between the price this will bring and the limited movement of the figure, I can't see how this could possibly sell as well as your normal plastic figure
Diecast belongs on cars IMO

also does this mean HT is going to have 3 sperate IM3 lines?
Plastic, Diecast, and Power Pose?
