I must say, it looks good. But to be honest, there's not a lot of difference between the old Iron Man MMS figures and this die-cast version. They could have stuck with plastic.

The difference will be the price. Expect these to cost MORE, much more than the regular MMS.
I'm still holding out for a normal MMS. So this should be up for PO tomorrow. I am really curious to see what the price is.

Ok now this question - what if they only offer the Iron Patriot in Diecast and PPS.....?

What they need in order to help sell the diecast figures is to have a bunch of them at SDCC in July so people can get their hands on them. In the pictures it looks awesome, but you can't really even tell that it's metal instead of plastic. I'll bet these will be wicked in hand.

thats my thoughts too... added with the fact that it looks like it comes with a cheadle sculpt like war machine and mk2 did.

Then it will save me a lot of money because there are 3 or 4 i would pick up if the are the normal MMS in the $250 range but at $400 or $500 a piece, it will be an easy pass.

Wait , so are they only making the Die-cast version. They say it can be displayed with other MMS figures, does that mean they won't bother with plastic? And then they say theres more MMS Diecast Ironmans coming soon. Is this just the default Iron man line now?

Doubt it that would mean its gonna sell for around 250$... I havnt been collecting long but i even know thats to low for a diecast figure! Im thinking around 500-600$ is what they are gonna charge us

I simply can't see them making 3 Iron Patriots - diecast MMS, plastic MMS and PPS?
When they said 15 different Iron Man figures, I was thinking different armors but maybe that meant total figures? Only time will tell....But I just don't see them making a plastic figure exactly like this? I could see diecast and PPS though.

I highly doubt they are going to stop making plastic versions... If they do they are going to lose alot of customers.
