Secret Wars Wolvie is definitely one of my favorite childhood toys. A recent Minimate was released that has his same color scheme. I personally think it was intentional, and a nod to the Secret Wars figure:

They previously did a Secret Wars style Dr. Doom:

Got a nice vintage figure myself today:

This is the first GI Joe I ever remember opening, so I'm a bit nostalgic about him.

And here's one I got out of storage yesterday. Possibly my favorite Transformers toy ever, and I'm really excited about the forthcoming MP figure:

Speaking of which I think Super Powers cream Secret Wars in terms of sculpt and overall quality, but I'll always have a soft spot for this Wolverine and his clip-on claws.

I had that wolverine as young child along with doom, captain america, and black suit spidey, good times:)

If you love your 80's toys and 80's cartoons, I implore you to watch this hilarity.

I watched this and he actually has a point on how much occult was pumped into cartoons in the eights, kinda creepy what my generation was subjected to:panic: I don't really think it had much impact on kids as there suggesting, they were looking to demonize almost every popular eightys cartoon there was, care bears and all, they even suggest smurfs were ho mo s exu als:lol

No more than previous generations. At least we were told it wasn't real. :)

Kids are smarter than most adults think. They can tell the difference between reality and fantasy. It's funny that now that we're the adults, many of us are forgetting this...

Is that word REALLY blocked here at Sideshow Freaks?

That's shameful.

Hot damn do I want that Zartan! I would sell my soul for a Zartan! Or follow his occultist teachings! Those crazy televangelists have only succeeded in turning me even further to the dark side.

I just checked the prices. It goes for a lot for such a small item.

As many Fine Vintage toys as I own the Z-Man is one of my top five favorites. Probably even top three along w/ the Super Powers Batmobile and my Thundercats. Just an all around great figure.

AND as promised an original article complaining about the use of the term "schizophrenic" on the original Filecard. Later issue Zartan Filecards had the term dropped altogether. Hopefully this is big/dark enough so you guys can read it.

Zartan is one of the key Cobra characters - he's right up there with Cc, Destro and the Baroness, a must for any collection. :)

I'm happy with my loose version, though I would like a set of unapplied stickers at some point...

I vividy remember my mom taking me to Bradlees as a kid and getting Zartan. He was such an aWesome figure. Someday I'll cave and buy another. Joe is the one line that I just have no interest collecting even though they were some of my favorites as a kid.

Damn, I still need an original Leia to complete my original 12. I've been concentrating on Hoth figures for a diorama but I'm getting inspired to flesh out the collection starting in a few months.

And Mando, those photos are awesome!

Say "doll" again muthereffer, SAY DOLL AGAIN!

Well and to add insult to injury the description is confusing Dissassociative Identity Disorder (mulitple personality disorder for you lay people) with Schizophrenia :lecture

Recently picked up a set of 6 Mego Eagle Force figure like these:

But waiting for delivery - will post pics in-hand when I get them.

And most of the parts for the GI Joe Adventure Team Smoke Jumper I'm piecing together. Still need the Land Adventurer body though. :)
