Well the movie Loki is not BAD per say. Just a little piss off. Given if you had his powers you and you found out your life was a lie. Hmm being his is the God of Lies? you would be piss off also.

In both movies so far he really never did anything to really hurt Thor. In both movies he just miss with him, again his God thing.

I just want to know where I get get a glass to go into his hand and give him that drink?

Not hurt him?
Dropping him in Hulks cage?
Sending the Destroyer after him?
He was dead until Odin resurrected him buddy.
Well If some piss ant step brother shived me in the gut while I was trying to get him to see the light, I'd kiss his mug with molijinir until he was a green smear with horns.

Sucker-punching, I mean stabbing Thor wasn't "really hurting him"? Dropping him 30,000 feet in a glass-and metal can wasn't meant to "really hurt him"? Okay.

Loki is more than "pissed off." Not to mention, 616 Loki is a complete and total badass who wakes up in the morning far beyond pissed off, just for starters. That's really not a fair comparison - 616 Loki is actually much more powerful than he was portrayed in the film. He's not to be messed with. And he hates Thor with a hatred blacker than the soul of murder.

I'm truly clueless. I think I have yet to see a truly bad HT figure. Of course people at home dont usually have access to the cameras, light boxes and other fancy photo stuff... and so the production figures will look different from the official beauty shots.

The official beauty shots on the HT promotional images are usually of a pre-production prototype painted by their best painter. Bizarrely, i have found that to provide nice results but which are not comparable to the final piece(But in a good way). If you look at the proto of the Reeve Superman, the production piece of far superior. Paint of better and likeness is closer. The same goes for Babydoll, Amber and Alice in my opinion. Final pieces look better than the promotional images.
I expect the same will be said of Loki. The promotional images looked good, the final piece will look GREAT.

The thing I fear is that they're going to ~make~ him be good at the end, anyways. Hiddleston seems to want this to happen, so I worry a bit.

Yeah.
They will turn him into the good guy and ruin him forever.
Of course, it's easy to imagine a situation where he turns to the good side, helps the good guys kill the baddies, gets his pats on the back, and in the final scenes, turns and smiles(Like, they just eliminated *his* competition, and now he is free to be the only baddie...).
Fingers crossed for that kind of ending.

I don't think that Loki is as cut and dry as some people are making him out to be and I don't think that the writers of the MCU are making him like that. He's far more complex.

Loki wants to rule. He wants to be top dog and he will get it anyway he can. So yes, maybe he will become and ally of the Avengers later down the line but only if it'll suit his goal.

Take for example Thor. He became king, did he then sympathize with Thor and let him live? Nope, when Thor confronted the Destroyer, Loki made a conscious decision to kill Thor and he didn't care. That is who Loki is, manipulative to the very end.

That would be a perfect ending for say... TA3. But that's a LONG time away yet.

Movie vs comic. Loki in the comics I always liked him. Don't remember but I never seen the color of his hair before.

I have a few friends who said that they expected that Thor would survive the fall in Hulks cage even if it had hit the ground with Thor in it

For me though, whether he could survive that or not wasn't the point of that scene, it was the fact that Loki didn't know and was willing to look his brother in the eye and willingly kill him should the cage have been successful.

I think that really got to Thor, he can see his brother slipping further and further away and there's nothing he can seem to do about it

Their story/arc is so powerful, love those characters

It is the perfect way to portray how much Loki has changed since he realization that he was not Odin's real son. I believe Loki will go to the end of the world to meet his goals but deep down he still loves his foster family and Thor but if they get in the way of his plans, that's a different story

Agreed. Something within him snapped upon learning the truth about his past. Then again, how would that impact anyone learning something they're not?

As for Thor surviving the cage impact.... I'd say yes. As would the Hulk. I think Thor would've been shaken up a lot more than he already was but he would still have survived.

I don't think SHIELD planned to drop the Hulk to the ground though, they spend most of their time over water, if that hit the water with the Hulk in it and it sunk he'd be gone for a long time.

The only reason it hit land was because the engines were out.

That's a good point. And you're right, sinking the Hulk in the ocean would be a great way for SHIELD to get the Hulk out of their hair for a while too.

It might be one of the best ways to deal with Hulk, assuming that the prison is strong enough to withstand his power.

I mean, Hulk would use up all the oxygen and loose consciousness making him revert back to Banner and whether or not it's Hulk or Banner they'd die with no oxygen.
