That's a reach. I want to just storm HT HQ and pull an Ocelot, get my answers the hard way.

Not very stealthy, i'd initially use the Raiden method, outside the building with a directional microphone and a Japanese to English book

Then run around naked in their building and if that doesn't work it's time for more direct methods :lol

Most definitely. Hostile takeover by Next Generation SSF commandos of HT HQ demanding the turnover of the 1/6 Big Boss. Threaten with obliteration at the hands of nuclear missile equipped 3A Metal Gear REXs.

^In addition to a 1/6 Gekko, I'd love to have a life-sized Scarab as well. I'd by several of them, and arrange them like this in a trench coat and hat! :horror :drool

(hopefully, ThreeA has other things planned for MGS beyond their RAY figure).

Any of the above mentioned would be cool. What I really want is that Japanese cosplay girl who does the really badass MG costumes. In 1/1 of course.

It should have Shinkawas badass art all over it like the medicom figures! But Hot Toys genery have either minimalist picture or photos of the figure

Definitely. The box for the first medicom Naked Snake was very well done.

I'm selling some Batman figures and inside the Bank Robber Joker box is a leaflet showing the others in the line.

At the time this was just as unproven as MGS yet it went from MMS68 upto 72 or something all in a row.

So there wasn't any 'it was continued because sales were successful' bullpucky with that as more and more were put up for order before the sales figures from the first were in...

MMS 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, then a short break to BRJ and Two-Face who were 79 & 81.

Wish MGS had such flow of figures :(

If the Metal Gear Solid movie turns out to be a huge success (contrary to the trend that video game adaptations suck), we will see a string of MGS characters for the MMS. :clap

Personally, I'm not interested in having the figures of actors cosplaying as MGS characters. If it's not based on the games and Shinkawa's artwork, I'd skip those entirely without a second thought.

At least watch the film first before saying that :slap

No, I'd rather not. Feel free to call me a petulant, hardcore fan-boy, but my mind's already made up. In order to appeal to a mainstream audience, this film will have to be an independent story that's not even related to the MGS canon in any way (or it'll have to be significantly watered down for regular film-goers) - similar to the Resident Evil movies which had Alice and Prison Break's Chris Redfield.

Like I said before, I won't buy the figures of "cosplayers" acting as MGS characters. First and foremost, MGS is a video-game series with a storyline and characters that I've loved for many years (my issues with Peace Walker and MGS 4 aside). So, I'm not interested in a director's interpretation of MGS - or rather, something that's MGS in name only.

Nope, sorry. Do not want.
