Just completed MGS (credits are still rolling). I wish HT bummed MGS as much as TDKR. 1:6 Rex, come on...

but after having completed the game. It really makes me think what bullshti MGS4 is. Its a GREAT GREAT GREAT game. If only you completely ignore what happened in MGS and are happy with Old Snake getting shafted and screwed at every point.

Man seeing the onslaught of figures in the next coming months... going to drop this... the suit is just too ugly for me to fully accept it as my MGS piece. HT really should've went with a better one.

I guess you can wait for a Jungle Fatigues version. But at this point if you don't buy a Hot Toys MGS figure, your not getting one else where... at least for years.

Though I like this version, its seems like HT should've went with the camo version for the initial release to ensure sales. It would be a shame if these figures sell poorly and they decide to cancel further figures if any are planned.

For the Gurlukovichs' it would need to be the Tanker and Shell One Core Brown and Dark Brown camo patterned suits with the NVG.

Hell yeah those are actually one I've wanted to custom build for awhile. I really like their look.

That's exactly how I feel about MGS4. Great, great game to play but what he did to Snake is just unforgiveable in my mind.

MGS4 is the last new MGS game I played. I haven't even been slightly tempted to play peace walker and portable ops and what not. And I bought the HD collection. And now Ground Zeroes is Big Boss again, eh, sigh. I'd love to play as Solid again but what's left? Nothing after MGS4's events and i'm sure Kojima won't remake the original 2 games. MGS on the whole has gone right down the ****pan. For me it consists of playing Twin Snakes, MGS2 & 3 over and over.

Well if people keep skipping or canceling this there won't be anymore.

This isn't a license to 'skip and wait for the next version' as it's an unproven license to HT that won't get a next version if ths doesn't sell enough

It's your decision of course, but imo almost no other figure coming from HT is worth skipping Snake.

This is one of the few original franchises and characters coming, nearly all others hve been done before or are from the same franchises that'll get newer versions at some point, this is more likely to be it for Snake.

Or wait patiently, get no snake at all and not be able to afford $400 sneaking suit snake.

At the time this was just as unproven as MGS yet it went from MMS68 upto 72 or something all in a row.

So there wasn't any 'it was continued because sales were successful' bullpucky with that as more and more were put up for order before the sales figures from the first were in...

But on the same note, poor sales are what prevented the Assassin's Creed line continuing past the first figure (Ezio). I just have no idea how Hot Toys works. In general, anything having to do with Snake tends to sell very well, so it's probable that they have more Snakes planned - at the very least.
