Youth crime/bullying has been on the rise for years. I read the statistics ____ what the news reports, usually they only get select stories they choose to cover.

I still disagree that youth crime/bullying is on the rise.

The statistics may say it's on the rise, but you know what they say about statistics. I think it's being reported a lot more these days than in previous generations.

In my time if you reported it or snitched, you were guaranteeing yourself of more beatings, etc. I'm sure you've heard the saying "snitches get stitches."

Don't get me wrong though. It is a problem and always has been. I just don't think it's that much greater of a problem today than it has been in the past.

I guess you're talking about the kid. Seems like you were defending him before but now lashing out at him. I can't tell which way you're going with this.

Nah, not you haha!. Damn you editing your post Hoodonit..

Defending nah, just stating what i think this person should have done if they were actually having a ____ life but, all the sheeple that left comments on his page seemed to have been touched by it and now should feel dumb for buying into it completely.

XD

I think the bullying has gotten a lot more cruel than when I was a kid. Used to be just stupid name calling, but now it's much more than that. Trouble is, the parents these days don't care what their kids do.

I don't tolerate any of it at school. None.

Sure but, the severity of these acts have risen compared to back in the day.
Many things that were considered outrageous a few decades ago, are now the norm.

I don't think there is more violence happening, and I think some things have become more severe, and others less.

I believe many people think that there is so much more violence today because back then there were no cellphones..no internet, no cellphones with internet, not nearly as many channels/news, etc.

If a dog makes a noise that sounds like "I love you", millions of people are watching it on Youtube. :lol

Apparently he goes both ways.:panic:

Not to mention the amount of guns that get smuggled in from the US to Canada is a huge problem and a main reason why kids are getting access to guns here and bringing them to school.

A good 8 or 9 out of 10 times, the potential perpetrator here is usually from low income housing, into that hip hop gangsta ____, never had good parenting or even two parents.

The attitude kids have today stink compared to when i was a kid.

You had someone beat on you in school then you beat them back and they ____ed off or you told a teacher. These days you beat up one and the whole gang of them want after you, beat up more and they want to shoot you..this is the mentality of a bad kid that lives in a cockroach infest cesspool housing complex in which your tax dollars are going to and even they get a tax return. XD

A majority of kids these days listen to hip hop, disrespectfully spewing that crap out to their parents and in public places and swearing like crazy, building this confidence like they think they are bad ass when they look like a joke and need a smack upside the head. The younger the parent the softer they are on their kids and less attentive, and i'll tell you right now..this subculture is also responsible for knocking up young whores who produce more of these little ____ disturbers...like a never ending ____ chain.

I've been robbed at knife point outside school at the bus stop when i was about 12-13 with my cousin. They put the knife to my stomach , told me if I didn't give them my money I'd die. Then they made us walk to the next bus stop with them and one of them said and I quote " if I had a balaclava now I'd just stab and kill you both. " :lol The funny thing is they were about 15-16 themselves but much bigger than us.

I thought a few seconds about running and even whispered it to my cuz but then figured if they actually did catch me or one of us they could end up stabbing one of us or even worse. They ended up taking my cousins phone , a few quid but left me with a £200.00 gift card to Gamestation. :rotfl
In school I was punched in the side of my face from the back and knocked to the floor dazed, then had my stuff robbed. Still no idea who did that. :dunno

Another time I was on a field playing football with around 20 other kids and after having a bit of a scuffle earlier with someones little brother who thought he'd spit on me from the top of a set of stairs his big bro came along and decided to drop kick me in the back and then kick me in the face repeatdley. An ambulance was called to the field and I was drove out and wore a cast for two weeks.

I really wish I could say being called gay was a problem at school. :lol:rotfl

This type of stuff happens all the time around here to a lot of people. There's used to be a lot of gangs here although I'm not sure that was the problem. There's just a lot of idiots. Your best bet is to just stay away from the people you know are likely to cause trouble and stick with your mates. I've moved now from where I used to live but I still go up there a lot to see friends , there's certain areas you just can't go without living in them.

Now that I'm older going out to clubs trouble still starts as if it's school. I saw a guy a few weeks ago get hit with a bottle and then dragged outside by about 6 or 7 guys whilst the bouncers watched. Apparently they attacked him for looking at one of them. :cuckoo:
Most of this seems to be dying down which is a good thing but there is obviously idiots everywhere.

Personally I think this all stems from most parents not giving a %^$£ about their kids and then they grow up to be idiots, the police not really caring about most criminals and letting them get on with it , and prison time being ridiculous.

Alot of these guys appeared when the riots started in London and then they all thought they'd have a go here.

I feel sorry for this kid but I find it hard to understand what the problem is. Just ignore them and get on with it. Sticks and stones.
Idiots and bullies will most likely always be that , I can imagine this kid growing up , having a good job and loving life. Whilst one of those guys picking on him will probably be angry at the world for ever.

Bullies usually are only angry at themselves or so self conscious they feel like they have to have a problem with everyone to gain respect.

^^^ THIS!!!!

It happened to me in college and they ALL PAID!!! :devil

Ski not to easy to blackout, ____CHES!!!!! (get a elephant gun next time)

Really sad and I do believe this happens to millions of children.

But like one freak already mentioned, when you think you've got it bad, there's always someone that has it worse.

I mean, he's got a computer and is posting a video on youtube.
Thousands of kids don't even now yet what the internet is.

Still, it's sad to hear/read about a child contemplating suicide because of bullying.

He's OK now. A whole 4 months later he seems much better, and now everybody loves him at his school.
