How could they possibly justify the price going up any more than it already is?

With my guy anyways, Loontentoys, I find the price goes up after the Pre Order stage. So this figure will go up in price more once my seller has him in stock.
This I why I alway try to buy my Hot Toys before they are actually on the market.
I don't think it is justified but that seems to be the way it goes.

I too think this figure is a bit too expensive.

I gotcha. I thought you were talking Sideshow and/or the places that get their stock from Sideshow. Because at those places, pricing for an in-stock Hot Toys figure seems to hold at full MSRP. I'm looking at Tracker Predator as an example. So I would expect the Mark V to hold at the already-ridiculous $209. But of course, none of this pertains to you and your seller

I always thought that most china based sellers on ebay jack the price up on the very first batch they get, so they can cash in on idiots who are willing to pay a load of extra cash just to have the figure a few week's earlier.
