Holy crap. I want it to be Neo, preferably in his reloaded and revolutions get-up. That would be the ultimate reveal for me.

And IMO a total fail for HT. I just don't think there's enough market, for it to be a success.

And honestly, the best way to produce a Banner might just be to include him with the Hulk.... Even hardcore Hulk fans would be hard pressed to spend 130 - 150 bucks on an Edward Norton in street clothes figure . HT could charge even more for a deluxe version of the Hulk that includes a Banner figure and people would still buy them up.

It scares me to think of how much that might cost. But there might be some truth to this. There was a Hulk thread suspiciously deleted from the Marvel section last week.

Similar to that, I'd like to see X-Men trilogy Wolverine DX with multiple heads and his X1 and X2/X3 costumes. I only care about the X2/X3 costume, but I figure a DX would give all fans a way to have their ideal X-suit Wolverine, I'm sure some people like the suit in the first film more.

Maybe, if they do a better likeness. Otherwise, that's just as big a flop as a Neo. :lol

Neither would be as big a flop as DX Comedian :lol

I personally wouldn't care much for Neo (I enjoyed the first film, but think he looks a bit boring personally), but there probably is a large fanbase for those films. I guess guys who first watched and enjoyed the movies as a kid are getting old enough to have nostalgia for them at this point.

Re: Hot Toys want you to guess what the DX03 is.

I found this pic in the "DX Batman Speculation" thread from April last year, way before they announced DX Batman which happened eventually,i see Rocky on there :D

According to a member here called "G`c" he said he had this magazine and it mentioned Rambo DX too.

In terms of movie wise The Matrix is older then the Watchmen movie, obviously. Therefore i'd think that it deserves and should get a full Hot Toys treatment. Again in terms of the movie only the Matrix Trilogy is more popular then Watchmen and thats only because theres 3 films vs 1 Watchmen, Watchmen was released last year whereas Matrix was released 1999+ so its had longer thus a bigger fan base. Am not starting an arguement but just saying that The Matrix series deserves a proper treatment. Also Watchmen has already got is line from DC Direct and Hot Toys already, it doesnt need a DX treatment ! Am still rooting for Chris Reeves Superman

I don't think we'd ever see Banner unless it was packed with Hulk, we never got a Bruce Wayne, the only Tony Stark is loaded with gear, I think it was lucky they even put out a suit that was essentially the Stark suit but not released as such. Best hope for Banner would be with Hulk, but I feel like they both belong together.

From a magazine April last year:

You guys know what this means:D

Can`t we keep 1 thread going instead of 2?

So by that rational, the Watchmen comics are considerably older than the Matrix and have a built-in fanbase that's been building for decades. Add to that the fact that one of the ending panels in it was voted #1 in Wizards Top 100 Comic Book moments of all time and was authored by an Eisner Award winning author, and you'll understand just how big the fan base is. So while the Matrix would win a "film" debate for the Matrix coming out sooner, you lose points for the "bigger fan base." It also didn't help that Suncoast couldn't give away the Matrix merchandise when they were closing their store. I have no doubt that a high end HT release would be the same. A quick look on ebay shows me that the Comedian figures from DC Direct are still fetching about $30 despite HT's announcements while (save for the fanboy dreams of $200+ listings that aren't selling), the Neo 12" figures are sub $10 and ending on zero bids.

Re: Hot Toys want you to guess what the DX03 is.

Superman or Rocky only for me.

Re: Hot Toys want you to guess what the DX03 is.

It will be interesting to see if this figure will be a new version of a character they've already made or if it will be an all new character. So far the DXs have just been uber remakes.

Re: Hot Toys want you to guess what the DX03 is.

We need something other than Stallone, for god's sake, there's what?7-8?Give us some variety HT.I love Stallone, but I think they should go about some new stuff first.
