T2 was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of its time imo. Even when you watch it today (18 years later) it looks better than most current CGI flicks. The perfect film.

That's why I liked RAMBO and look forward to The Expendables. I like action movies where it's about interesting characters, and fun, fairly grounded action. Too many movies now get caught up in using CGI to push the visuals and get lost on substance in the film. T2 used CGI to help tell the story but Cameron didn't get wrapped up in the effects, they were a tool, which they should be, rather than a focal point. In some ways, i think CGI has given filmmakers too much freedom and their heads explode with CGI effects ideas so much they forget about the story. The better films today put story ahead of CGI and other gimmicks.

Yup, thats my second favorite part of the soundtrack from the movie.I remember watching T2 back when i was 11 and after seeing the T-1000 lay the beat down, i thought for sure he was finnished then he revives to turn the tide, this movie had me on the edge of my seat pretty much all the way through.

I missed out on a lot of that scene early on. I was 9 when T2 came out, so I had to watch the edited for TV version for awhile and they cut a lot of the beat down scene to basically one hit and a quick run through with that metal rod, less horrific than the full beating he gave him, but still cool to see Arnie come back.

One thing I think helps me love for T2 over T1 is the score. T1's score, while classic and has some good parts, is also very 80's, where T2 is more contemporary and orchestral sounding and more my style of music. I have a hard time feeling emotional with 80's techno, take the main title, in T1, it's just a song too me, at the opening of T2, it's very moving to me.

I was that exact age when the first Terminator came out. I remember watching it on VHS waaaaaaaay back in '85 when it was a new release at the video store. :lol When T2 came out, I remember my mom signing me and a few friends out of high school at lunch to sit on the line for the 5pm show.

Looks like they forgot the second teaser.

I think this will be my highest desired figure for next year..he looks cold as ice.

Since all these pics have Sideshow on them, that might mean there will be a SS exclusive.

I don't feel as bad about selling my Dutch now.

Even though the money from which went to helping pay for my girlfriend's classes, just so she could dump me and run off with some
other d!ckless jerkoff right after. She's a smelly pirate hooker from whore island and I hope she rots in a jet-fire, aids-ridden hell.

Cool figure though. Better than Dutch.
