The height works for me as that's the height I always saw the Aliens as in the first 2 films anyway. I may end up doing what someone said and see if it's possible (if I feel it needs it when I get it here) to resculpt a better lip line/better teeth. Will look incredble then. (as it is it looks very good... just not on the mouth as much)

I think the lips need pulling back further, and the teeth should be bigger & pointier. Other than that I'm happy with it.

The upper lip is too thick, the teeth are too small and all wrong in terms of shape and color. The chin is also a little larger than it should be. The mouth as a whole might be just a tad small, as well.

Really thats about all I see, that matters. A good customizer should be able to remedy all of the above to make a perfect 1/6 Alien.

The front half of the head.
Everything from the beginning of where the jaws begin.
There are more, but those are minute.

It's still a great looking piece, but the main reason for all the hubbub is that we all know that Hot Toys can do much better if they really wanted to. So, we feel like they decided to give us something mediocre. (Proof of this is the re-use of the ALIEN 3 parts)

There's no question that it's inaccurate, it's a matter of what you're willing to live with. For some it's easier than others.

I'd still recommend it, but not at its retail price.

From what I can tell, the "cheeks" look a little weird too, and not to mention the shape of the eye sockets are still off.
This is NOT an easy fix because of the silicone Hot Toys uses for the flesh. Otherwise, I'd agree with you.

I 'm starting to see what you guys are sayin about the mouth..something is really off. looks like he has a fat jaw..

All of the proportions are out. For example, look at the distance between the nose of the skull, and the top row of teeth.

I wouldn't feel too shook up about it.
Look at it this way, it will fit right in with the Hot Toys ALIENS Warrior alien and hopefully have none of the QC issues.
