My attitude is T2 can wait, after NECAs recent offerings I have a pretty damn good representative from T2 in my 1/6th collection already. Whereas the lack of Arnie likeness on my T1 T-800 MMS really hurts that figure now.

Seriously agree. WTF are people voting for the T2 version when he is less machine, less buff, and older looking? T1 is the ultimate Terminator.
If they do T2 Arnold, I sure hope T2 Sarah isn't far behind.
I just hope that list means they are actually willing to eventually do them all. Watch them end up making Kyle anyway
It'd be like the Sideshow poll for Star Wars Expanded Universe characters. Mara Jade was at the top the whole way until Illum Padme rocketted up at the last second to take the poll (rigged), and sure enough there was a Padme headsculpt revealed like a week later.

Yeah, my guess is we'll just end up with Kid Kyle and nothing from the classic films.
Still don't understand why T2 is so much more popular, its a great flick... but the original is classic. And Arnold is at his best when he's just the killing machine; not a surrogate father.

Like I said, it's probably rigged to make us think the fans voted for what they fully intend to make anyway.
Think about it. How close is the Dutch head to T2 Arnold already, whereas T1 would require an entirely different headsculpt? A slight mod to the hair, and new clothes, and he's already made.

All though in all honestly T2 always seems to beat out T1 when it comes to "which movie is your favorite". So, while I'm not thrilled by T2 being in the lead its not a huge surprise either.

I give both T1 and T2 a 10/10 but always prefer T1 as the best anyday. Still it doesn't take away from how amazing T2 is. It just all started with T1 for me.

Its not so bad for us T1 fans, if my other poll is anything to go by these same people voting for T2 T800 would also buy the T1 version. Hopefully this is something Hot toys will see and take into account.

i voted t2 cos i thought everyone else would vote for t1 instead, and t2 would need some love...
whoops.
still. i have a feeling ht is gonna make both versions anyway.
and coulda been worse. they could've had a poll offering to make these instead:
- ginger (sarah's room mate in t1)
- sarah connor (the FIRST one arnie killed in t1)
- the little toddler arnie picked up in t2
- doug (the pescadero orderly in t2)
