His review actually makes me want to see it even less than before...

both the review and the film have the depth of a puddle.

Keep in mind that Latino Review is pretty much the only movie news site that's been carrying the flag for this movie since Day 1. More than one apologist over there.

Eh, I'll wait until some actual JOE fans (that don't have their noses up the asses of Hasbro and the movie, unlike HIS STANK and the other fansites) review the flick.

I agree, that for a Gi Joe movie it will be terrible, but I bet there wont be as many WTF moments in it.

I doubt anything in it will compare to farting robots and stoned moms tackling college frisbee players.

Well, so far all of the "positive" reviews boil down to the following:


"It's not the worst thing ever"

"It's really, really dumb but fun!"

"I liked it more than TRANSFORMERS 2!"

"If you're a 9 year old kid, you'll love it!!!"


Who exactly are they trying to sell this swamp property to?

The reviews sound good. My hope is growing. The designs still suck, and the Paris scene is ass.....but who knows. This could be fun as hell.

No, it'll have white guys replaced with black guys (even though there are plenty of legitimate and better black characters to play), dudes replaced with chicks, Gen2 console gaming digital effects, real "international" American heroes, a mad scientist with a breast pump over his mouth, emo ninjas and a Power Ranger. Gimme TF2 anyday over this ^^^^ heap.

I hated Transformers 2, but I do except that the film made most of the Hardcore fans happy.
G.I Joe seems to be upsetting the fans more than anyone else, and it's not even out yet.
I might give it a try on DVD, but I'm not going to the Cinema after getting burned so bad by Transformers 2
