I had the exact ones. I collected the regular figures.

So how do you get from A, them disappointed with the color, to B, the figure being no good? :huh That's what I mean by railroading people's comments into a narrow perception of black & white. From what I've seen, most have been saying the figure's a good figure, it's just not Cobra Commander.

Its been stated several times. Have ya missed the posts saying the figure is caca, lame, etc? I mean those terms aren't exactly a positive thing about the figure.

Who ever will be at the SDCC lets have a wrestling match over this.

I would have been ok with classic cobra commander but I think that figure is better set to do in the regular line at somepoint. Doing Classic CC as a SDCC item could potentially piss off more folks.

You seem to be missing the point about it being the color alone that is all wrong. No one wanted a classic CC for SDCC exclusive, but it would have been nice for Sideshow to pick a color that was actually used in the classic line, NOT red.

I guess I just approach it as since the line isn't soley based on the classic stuff and being a con ex it's not worth it being upset over. I find it an interesting concept the same way I would have if it was black and with the design of the one we just got.

I don't know about that. It appears that most folks not liking it aren't even going to comic con.

This is practically sold out. Looks like I wont be able to get one at the next PPO.

Do some of you consider this figure to be the most controversial piece of all time?

Maybe we should do a thread or a poll on what some would consider the most controversial piece.

Most Controversial? For me it was the Spooktacular Babysitter variant. After all the hoopla and outcry on the boards about three colored variants to that figure it was jaw dropping to see another hit the ordering block. That figure single handedly ended a lot of people's loyalty to the line.
