Reading over recent posts I get why people aren’t thrilled with the proportions. I’m grateful for the increased height, but it looks like Hot Toys didn’t really scale anything up, they just elongated his limbs and torso. So now he just appears a little stretched out to me and doesn’t have that good bulk. He’s got orangutan arms now. I feel like the Mark 85, one of the tallest IM figs, has the same overly long arms and legs.

That gap between the torso and thighs is just hideous...

It's possible, I think up until a few months ago that used to be the case. From what I've seen recently with the past few figures there's at least a month delay from when blogger pics go out, then Sideshow releases an unboxing video, then shipping notices soon after.
Thanks brother, I guess we might see their video by next week.

Bro please keep in mind Threezero's figures are only 1/12 scale. But still, apart from the elbow joints they look much better than HT ones (talking about Mark 7 here) If they are to work on a bigger scale they will certainly make the figure look more realistic IMO.
I have issues with the weird proportions on the Mark VII, so sure, maybe their version works better. Not so sure about the others but ... point is moot, for now this is what we've got.

It's so close to perfect, but again, why do the do the covers of the repulsor hands have to bend like that? The 46/7 and other do that stupid bend, it's hard ******* metal, Mk 3 was shown on film with his hand back and that cover sliding up the forearm, not clipping and warping, it's so brainless and stupid

Ahhh I need my shipping notice Sideshow. Ordered this and paid it off day 1. The bizzare thing is that Sideshow has really improved in this regard with other releases.

In fairness to Sideshow, they do have to wait for it to physically arrive in massive shipping containers on a transpacific boat from Hong Kong which then has to be unpacked and processed at port before they can receive it for shipping. This is a process that can take months. Secret Base does not, and chooses to release their's immediately. Likewise, asian resellers do not have to pay for those transatlantic shipping containers, port costs, and import fees etc. etc. etc. It's not just Hot Toys mate, most goods from Hong Kong, can be bought more quickly and less expensively in Hong Kong as opposed to the time and cost it takes to get it in the US or elsewhere.

No, I agree. But it felt like they'd sorted it out somewhat by getting the first shipment in early for early purchasers. At least that has been my experience over the last year. So I was expecting to have this by now. But, yes, you're right about most goods being cheaper and faster to purchase from Hong Kong.
